QUESTION:
What the heck is this old geezer weirdo doing to his beard??
(The answer will soon follow...)
ANSWER:
I was in the process of coloring a portion of my beard in the earlier photo (leaving my mustache and a portion of goatee untouched, by pony-tailing it out of the way while applying the chemicals to the rest of my beard)... and this photo shows the results!
My thanks to: L'Oreal Paris, for selling me their "copper penny red" color -- and thanks also to Kansasdude, for suggesting a better product than that awful "Just for Men" -- Santa is a lot happier now with just a hint of some color other than snow white in his beard!

I got a private e-mail from someone here who couldn't see any difference in my hair color...
Yes, that is correct: that's because I did NOT color the hair on top of my head -- I only dyed a few hairs on my chinny-chin-chin!
My head hair is still the exact same "virgin" color as what Mother Nature has gifted me with (including all of the hard-earned geezer white hairs); but I have colored my beard in the past, using the "Just for Men" product -- only this time I tried out something new to me, that of using REGULAR HAIR COLORING on my BEARD!!!
Clear as mud??
If you go to the follow-up pic that I posted (with the title, "Here's the answer to beard-o's question..."), you'll see a photo of my hair & beard in dry form...
Thanks to any and all replies, whether here or via private e-mail!

Meanwhlle the hair on your head is looking really good.
Thanks, Mr. Albany!
Wow Ken, you look ravishing there in that beard do!LOL.Have to admit you are creative partitioning off your facial hair in preparation for a partial dye job.Very interesting as I never thought of doing it that way.Actually last Saturday was "henna day" for me so I was glopped up to the nines on both my head and face!LOL.Good thing no one came to the door as I can imagine them tripping over themselves running away after getting a load of my cellophane face!Hey,you do what you gotta do to get the job done.So when you see me later I'll be all refreshed in red;)Fun post Ken as I can't wait to see your results for myself:)Cheers
