Hey everyone, my first message. Great site!
My hair has grown down now to my elbows. Its staight, thicker and all cut one length. I have been growing it long for about the last three and a half years, since I was 20.
I great style I have been doing for a couple months is to pull my hair back, twist it fairly tight, gather it up and use a large hair claw to make it into a bun on the back of my head. I like the look a lot and its easy to make look good! I've bought about five different color claws.

Like you, I have found the hair claws to be really useful accessories. I will generally pull all of my hair up into a twist and clip it or I may just pull the sides up and clip it in back, high. They're most useful to me when I want to keep my hair out of my face when driving with windows down. And, I too have quite a few in varying colours. My favourite - the large tortise shell, large white colour runs a close second!
I'm having a little trouble visualizing what you did with your hair. It might be helpful if you could post a picture.
