As most of you know I've been battleing 3 addictions. However a recent experience with LSA (precursor to lsd) has changed all that. I had a textbook bad trip, and I remembered what a horrible person I was before I grew long hair. Almost all my negative childhood memories were remembered and confronted. Most of the people I associate with, distanced themselves from me, even though I became a better person after the experience.
I would never wish LSA on my worst enemy. It's not something that I would wish to re-experience. I had to confront what led me to my addictions. A funny thing happened after that, I found I did not need cigarettes, alcohol or marijuana anymore. Withdrawal symptoms are still there, but I can confront them, whenever they pop up.
I will not tell anyone how to do it, that would be irresponsible and I found out that if I had not had strong willpower I could have easily gone insane.
Ibogaine works in a very similiar way.
I do not wish to glorify drug usage, but I have to speak out.
The way you achieved to fight addiction doesn't matter if it really works.
Now forgive yourself and take care.
François.
Hi Jason,
Thanks for posting this link. I was unaware of this chemical. On a side note, I have been monitoring your blog with interest. Keep up the good work.
Take care, Ted
Thanks Ted. I know it's in need of updating and hope to do so soon.
Hi Jason,
Sorry for the delayed reply. I will have to go and check out your blog. I really enjoy reading it. I know it's hard to find time in a day sometimes. Your hair is looking awesome by the way.
Take care, Ted
I'll have to do a proper hair update at some point. It's been interesting to see the growth since I cut the 7 inches last Spring.
I wish you the best! Keep fighting!
Darrin
Hi Kenneth,
I totally agree with Francois. Please forgive yourself and move on to the better things in life. Like growing your hair. I wish you much success in your efforts against these addictions. Please take care of yourself-you matter.
Sincerely, Ted
I don't think you glorified drug usage at all. Quite the opposite; you at least made LSA ( and subsequently Ibogaine) sound horrific. I'm glad your battles are going well, and I wish you the best of luck with them :)
