Well actually I see longhairs all over NY but this gentleman gave me the best opportunity to grab a shot of his ponytailed hair with a cool ponytailer:)Obviously this guy is up in age but still has great hair and I loved the color. This was taken in a section of NY known as Hells Kitchen where they were holding their weekly Flea Market. Some intertesting items were being sold as I enjoyed looking at the antiques.Cheers

It is rare to see men this age with hair this long. I intend to keep mine long until old age. Hopefully you found some great items at the flea market.

Good for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I started growing my hair in 1964, now in 2012 I intend to keep
my hair long (and grey) until the day i die.
Actually around here it isn't that rare. You'll find a good number of older guys with long hair. And a number of them are going bald on top and still have long hair.
It certainly isn't that rare here in Portsmouth, UK, either. I see loads of older guys with long hair. Even if it's grey or white and they're balding on top, they still grow it long. Good for them!
Long hair is even more common in our neighbouring city of Southampton. In fact, it's so common it's more or less mainstream, particularly for young dudes but also the older ones as well.
