Do you guys still dress up for Halloween? If so, what costumes have you done in the past?

At the age of 58 I don't recall getting dressed up for Halloween.
I don't do costumes.
So when we had Halloween parties I just went as an aging hippie form the 60s. And I could do that by just wearing what I always
wear.

There's nothing wrong with aging hippies. Even though it's slightly before my time, I think it was a cool era in our history. I believe I would have enjoyed living through that. The 70's were pretty good, though. Your hair looks great, by the way.

This is Antu, a shaman from the high Andes. The garb is a 19th outfit used by some American fraternal organizations who would dress as Indians at special events. That obscure tradition goes back to the Boston Tea Party where such garb was worn by the white folks throwing tea bales overboard.
The decorations here are real human black hair.
It is very bad form to "play Indian" so I jigger the story somewhat so as to hopefully not upset anyone.
Unfortunately (!), while my own hair at age 64 hasn't been cut in many years, it is terminal at about a foot now - so I had a little help with this black wig. Had to cheat! Darn.
Sorry to hear your hair is at terminal length. Very nice costume though and looks good on you. Thanks for posting the pic.

It is the same costume I wear every day. The only difference is that my hair and beard is several inches longer now.
