Here's a shot from today. While you can't see the full length, after two solid years of only minor trims it's beginning to look pretty decent.

Kansasdude,
The kilt suits you very nicely.

Thanks! That's my hiking kilt. I just wish at times it was a bit lighter so as to be a bit more comfortable on the trails.

do you have any recent pictures from the back so we can see your hair length?
If you go to his Flikr site, go to the second page it appears there
are photos of the back.
Your hair is looking good.
I especially like the kilts, although i've never had the nerve to wear one.
Somehow I'd managed to go a year without taking any new photos.
Hopefully I'll get around to taking some more pics before winter sets in that will include some pics from the sides and back.
As for the kilt, I mostly wear them when I'm out hiking. I haven't quite gotten to the point where I can wear one just anywhere. (Unlike my buddy who'll wear one just about anywhere.)

Awesome! That's the way I wear my hair - loose with the fringe to one side.

As I told people at my class reunion last weekend, that when I'm not at work I get to let my hair down. Literally. :-)

Looking great Dale,
I enjoy visiting your facebook page and seeing your Being Liberal page updates. Some very convincing arguments not to vote Republican.
Cheers,
Duncan
Thanks Duncan. I'm glad somebody likes what I post there. ;-)

Nice kilt !!
Thanks! That's my hiking kilt. I've got a couple others but I don't seem to wear them as often.

Your hair looks fabulous and I love the way you style it too:)Great progress for the two year milestone so it begs the question...Are you at your goal length or is the journey still underway;)
At first I thought you were wearing shorts until I realized that wasn't the case.I have to ask how often you wear the Kilt?Interesting the camo material.Guess its GI approved?lolCheers

Thanks. It's amazing it was looking as good as it was. It was a windy afternoon and I'd been fighting to keep it out of my face. But for that brief few minutes it was calm enough that my hair actually cooperated.
As for length, I'm not sure where I'm headed. I've still got a ways to go before the front is sufficiently long. At some point I may try to even it out to where it's closer to one length. As long as I can keep it tied up and out of harms way at work I can keep on going longer.
As for the kilt, I usually just wear it when I'm out hiking. The cammo looks the part, doesn't it? :-) I've got two others that I've worn infrequently, mostly because they're too heavy for summer and just not warm enough Kansas winters.

Your hair looks great, Dale. What is your goal length? (Lower back would look nice.)
Scott
I'm really not sure yet. As long as I can keep it tied up and out of harms way at work I can let it grow. I do however think that the practical length will be near mid back, as I have super fine hair and going much longer may be inviting disaster.

Thanks! Hearing positive comments makes me think I should have tried this a lot sooner. ;-)
