I got my hair trimmed on Thursday. My stylist suggested that I take off 5 inches. She said that that amount of my length was dry and damaged. I have decided to grow my hair to lower back length. (May go for waist) Here is my pic. I I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Well done man. Amazing look.
Thanks Michael,
I didn't want to loose 5 inches of length, but now I can continue to grow it.

I love the length and the colour, can't wait to see it longer :)

Hi Darrin,
Simply put, your hair looks amazing! Wow the length and the texture are what I would like to have. Your hair looks similar in waviness to mine and I sure hope I can get mine to look like this. Maybe in a few years. Well done, and please keep it flowing and growing!
Take care, Ted
Hi Ted,
If you keep growing it it will. Wavy hair is unruly in the beginning. However, it looks cool after it grows out. Enjoy each stage of the process.

Hi again, Darrin. I will use your photo for inspiration, with your permission, of course. Thanks for the reply and take care.

Looks great !!
Hi Darrin,
Have to say you have fantastic hair that looks great long and will even longer:)I like you goal length but it might be fun to try for terminal just to see your limits;)You could always cut it back after that but maybe you'll just love it enough to keep it that way.Just be careful with your hair while cycling;)Cheers

Your hair is gorgeous. Waist length would look nice. Do try to be conservative on trimming, removing only the damage. Damage can often be felt. Hair will feel rough with damage. 5 inches is 10 months growth. If only the last inch feels rough, then removing one inch may suffice.

WOW, what a nice looking, well cared for head of hair you have there -- truly looking EXCELLENT!!!
I used to annually have an inch or so taken off in order to remove the split ends; but nowadays I use the "Search & Destroy" method of chasing after individual split ends myself. Along with applying a small amount of beneficial oil onto the ends (Olive oil, Kukui nut oil, Almond oil, or Jojoba oil), which has helped to prevent splits by keeping those ends moisturized, I've not felt the need to go to any hair professional in over 3 years now -- which has enabled me to get to belt-length now....
In any case, again, my compliments!
