Hi guys,
Just wanted to post a picture.
I had the back trimmed again two months prior, so it's actually above the front now. Three more months and I get to join the legit ponytail club ^_^
On the other hand, I still keep kicking myself about the asymmetry here -- my left side is noticeably thicker than the right side -- or at least at the very tip. Oh well, this is not the time to fix such things.
Sorry about my room -- I obviously need to go clean it up. I think I'll do that after my college apps are done.
Have to say you have very nice hair but seriously don't be doing so much trimming. All it does is drag out the growing process which in itself takes a very long time to achieve a long length.Don't know why you'd trim the back as that's where you most want the longest hair:)Anyway as long as your enjoying the journey that's all that matters my friend.Cheers

That's interesting because my hair on the left side always seems
to grow faster than the right side. I guess the left side of my
brain is more fertile. :-)
Interesting. Are you left handed by chance?
If it's longer in the front than the back that is a bob cut, which is what I have. As I aged my hair's terminal length got real short and it was looking ratty, so I went to a shoulder lenghthish style where most of the hair is healthy to the ends. You are young so you can have about anything now!
Thanks!
Yes, I'm a southpaw. Although I still think that it's because of a botched cut.
I'm not the one that wants the trims -- and it certainly isn't my dad.
So this is my 13-14 month update, so it's about 4-5 months more to go =)
Hi .mkl,
Thanks for posting your update photo. Your hair is growing ver well. With such straight hair you should have no problem achieving great lengths. Your hair will look super in a ponytail. Just try not to do any more trimming. I think my hair is a little thicker on the left side also. I think when my hair was at shoulder length this difference didn't seem so obvious to me though. Mother Nature has her way of correcting things if we let her take care of it.
I wish you much success with your college endeavors as well as your hair growth.
