Hi Gordy
I KNEW that was you on the cover when I picked up the newest magazine just last night at the store. Your're famous! (Nobody has ever put me on the cover of anything. Boo-hoo.) LOL
Take care-
Justin~
Now THAT is funny Justin!!!!hope that mag survives after record low sales!!!lol..nice effect!
I beg to differ Gordy. I would really like to see more mags with covers like this. Thanks Justin for giving us what we want to see!
Ted
Well Ted, looks as if your wish is true. Just can't believe it, but Gordys photo is in the Northwest Magazine just hot off the press and in the stands TODAY! (Barnes and Noble.) I DO hope they are paying Gordy royalities or at least something for the use of this unique photo.
Justin~
Hi Justin,
Yes, I am just loving this! We need to get Gordy on the phone to the powers that be to be sure royalties will be paid! Great job Justin! I gotta get to B&N to get my copy! Justin I hope your hair is coming along well as I certainly miss your hair when it was long.
Take care, Ted
Yes Ted, RUN! (Don't walk or stumble cause they will be all sold out.) Gordys got it all wrong however. His article is about "Biking" in the Great Pacific Northwest and how he out-did everyone else riding the steep road up to the top of Mt. St. Helens. He was there at least 30 minutes ahead of all the other bikers. It will probably place him in the Guiness Book rumor has it around here.
Justin~
on this gadget. Spotted it right away tonight at "Best Buy" and couldn't believe my eyes. Can you believe this? And to think, it is on sale for 149.95. Hurry while supply lasts!
Justin~
Justin I don't think I can keep up with Gordy and all of his appearances much longer! I just didn't realize how famous he was! By the way, they had just sold the last one of these special "Gordy" models when I arrived at the store! Grrr! Have a wonderful day everybody!
Ted
Hey Ted
I just checked out Amazon.com for you but I guess this never got as far as there. Darn, now it will be a highly sought after and valuable collectable. Have a nice weekend Ted.
Justin~
Yes i am the cover guy for the story "Fat tire dreaming"...what a tease!lol
Is "Fat tire dreaming" an article on Mountain Biking?
I don't know. I didn't read it. These days I only look at the pictures. I DID see something fat as I remember, and that person was photographed trying to get out the door at McDonalds and was stuck, so they had to tear half the building down to get this poor individual out. Too many BIG MACS most likely. Wasn't Gordy however. No way!
Fat Tires refers to mountain bikes which have the "fat" tires
as opposed to the thin tires on racing bikes. The fat tire bikes were used mainly for mountain biking, later became popular with people who rode their bikes in the city. The fat tires
fared better on city streets with pot holes, etc.
I haven't seen the magazine but i'd guess that this is what
the article is referring to.
Looking ever so very handsome, Gordy!
- Oren
thanks Oren..you continue to amaze me with the 'front and back' equilibrium of length with beard and hair...your side shots are great showing them racing for the floor!big hugz...Gordy
Hi Gordy,
Have to say I really like your B&W pic updates as they don't have that odd effect as your color ones had.Still your hair looked grand either way my friend:)It would be cool to do some outdoor action shots as well but of course in warmer weather;)LOL.Cheers
Mârk
Hi Mark..thanks but i agree with you that the texture of the pics is strange...its still the same laptop cam i just hit the settings to take the color out and the results are a tad bit better..my skin is good but no where near as good as depicted in the color pics..more like the black and white...anyway..it is what it is for now and its all about the hair anyway...right?i am kind of a cold weather guy so would not be averse to outdoor shots in the cold at all...hope things are well with you and fun to watch your pics as you adventure around!
Gordy
Looking good Gordy, always enjoy your updates.
Karsten
i hope we see more of you in 2013!!we can never be bored with your mane and any glimpse we get of it!! i was thinking since you arent hiking and outside...maybe you can do some interesting inside shots like draping hair over a toaster or in the pages of a book or wrapped around a houseplant or draping over the silverware in drawer....would be fun!lol
