I'd posted recently about employment problems, and that one of the new jobs I was looking at would require me to have a short haircut. Well, got the news this afternoon that the government has extended my contract through February, so I've got a little more breathing room to find a new position that's hair-friendly. That's certainly good news but too bad it's just a temporary reprieve however like you said it buys time to continue looking.
Maybe after we get into the New Year, and past this fiscal cliff problem,things will start improving but am I too optimistic? Anyway have a great holiday if I don't get the chance to say so before next week.Cheers my friend.

I am happy to hear you have gotten an extension. but I sure hope you are able to keep your hair in the future. Would be a big shame if you had to cut your wonderful hair! I will keep my fingers tightly crossed for a positive outcome! Take care and keep it growin' and flowin' my friend!

This is good. I just can't understand why modern day employers would have a fit over the length of your hair. It seems barbaric to me. Hopefully you will find a way to keep your current job or find a longhair friendly new employer.
