Not all long haired men play in metal bands! ;-)
how many of y'all agree with me that there needs to be more promotion of successful men with long hair outside the music biz?
Indeed, the best way to remove stigma from something is to have successful celebrities endorse it.
Besides, who's gonna argue with that guy? Because... damn.
Don't forget the 180 men in the NFL with long hair.
Absolutely.
For those who don't know Tony Little has had long hair for many
years, has been hawking fitness equipment for many years.
One year (1993?) he was involved in a serious car accident,
When the subject of successful long haired men came up on this
board i'd forgotten about Tony Little. From what I understand he
has made billions of dollars hawking his fitness equipment.
I totally agree!
I'm slightly confused, whats going on here? :/
For many years Tony Little has had long hair.
He is an excercize enthusiast and has been hawking
excercize equipment on tv for years. I believe he
has made billions of dollars doing so.
So the bottom line is you can have long hair in fields
other than just music.
ah... I see.
It looked like the business he was successful in might be on DVD

Yes, I remember him. I thought his hair was wavy rather than so curly. His hair looks great and he very well represents that longhair men can be very successful.

I agree! The more we long hairs can show the world that we exist in and excel in various fields and that we are confident in who we are the more society will accept that we are guys who have made a decision to present ourselves that is outside of the usual. We respect the right of self expression for everyone. Nevertheless, being a longhaired guy when the majority of guys in our society choose to wear their hair short or even shaved quietly bespeaks a strong sense of self. Also, long hair on a man is natural, bespeaks a desire for freedom, and has a more regal, soverign appearance; my opinion. So guys, let the world see that we long hairs exist in various careers and vocations and that we're good at what we do.
