So it was around 2001 (I think?) that I first broke out of my conservative upbringing and started growing my hair longer than the standard East TX young-man's cut. In 2004 I first started getting dreadlocks, and have had dreadlocks in one form or another since then (excepting when I shaved a set of dreadlocks, and immediately began growing another set). As of last week, my hair is just long/curly, and for the first time, it's long enough to braid! Ok, so it's rather short french braids, but still...this feels like a stepping stone for me!
I will probably have dreadlocks again when the time is right for it, but for now...time to find out what my terminal length is!

Hey hey, it's always good to see familiar faces. At the moment, I'm taking time off from the juggling (on grounds of numbness due to MS).So for the time being I'm starting a cooperative with some friends, producing lacto-fermented mustard, and waiting to hear how my residency permit case is going.

I also like your braided goatee (am thinking about growing out my beard like that myself, but have not yet decided to fully "commit" to the doing of it - LOL)....
