Hey mlhh!
so I ultimately decided to not get dreads after weeks of thinking. Thought it was too much of a risk and if it didn't turn out the way I wanted it too I would basically be screwed. So in return posted pic of my current hair. Growing it for i think it's 3.5 years now give or take!
Hi Ranko,
First off all I'll say that was a wise decision to bail on the idea of dreads.Seeing the type of hair you have I can't imagine they would have come out well but that's just a hunch on my part.Currently your hair looks fabulous so why mess with success my friend;) Thanks for posting you pic and welcome to the community:) Cheers

Hey...
As someone who's had dreads for years previously I gathered an awful lot of info.
Dreads should be treated as a non cosmetic style.
It's more of a special journey. Loving your hair for its twist and turns. Congo dreads that form, and their own unique style. Dead a can literally form in any hair type. From straight silky asian, to Afro Caribbean. Natural is the only way to go though. No products, wax oils.. It's all money making rubbish.
I back combed once, in sections. Washed once a week. And they were perfect. Miss them still, missed it was like a living tree growing and changing.
But your hair looks great as is. Some people aren't cut out for dreadlocks. Worrying and such.
Keep on growing dude!
Good decision,
oh - ur hair is gorgeous, truly gorgeous - nature has given ewe the best she's got - never mare that beautiful mane with dreads = PROMISE !!! cheers CEM. :)
You look sad...having a bad day?

Nice hair. Could you post more pics in half tail, pony or braid etc..
Hi Ranko,
I am happy you decided not to do the dreads. Your hair is much too nice to do that. Please keep us updated on your wonderful hair!

Your hair is the best of the best! Dreads would only detract from your perfect long hair! I love the bright color, straightness and silkiness of your hair. Your hair looks much easier to maintain compared to mine.
