Is it a requirement to have a degree to obtain employment in Austin?
Man I hope that's not true.. It's scary if it is.
In from Ireland and my education is low. I left school at 15. I'm 29 now.
But I'm book smart in all things from astro-physics to business. I'm by no means an ignorant numbskull.
I've always dreamed of moving to the states, doubt it would ever happen. The doubt comes from I'd never get in with no education or skill.
But if all places needed a degree, I'd probably end up washing dishes anyways.
I've never been to Texas and i'm not sure what you mean by a degree but i'd suggest emphatically that it would help
alot if you at the very least had a high graduation degree.
Also it would help immensely if you did have a college degree
or some training from a trade school.
I would also point out it is possible to attain employment skills
without attending college. After all for employment the idea is to acquire skills that an employer is in need of. And yes
if you're sufficiantly skilled in an area that an employer
needs you can find employment that will allow you to do things
like grow your hair long.
i live in austin. while i do have a degree, i have many friends who do not and they all have jobs.
