Here is my February update pic. Hopefully you all are not getting tired of seeing these monthly pics. This pic was taken with my hair barely dry from washing. Thanks for checking it out.

Glad to see you've posted your progress pic! Hair loooks great, and it sure is nearing "mid length" term! Not long before you can call yourself a longhair! :D
Looks like you have even more curl in yours than mine, so as I said earlier, we simply have to have that much more patience when we want it to reach a certain length, like shoulder length or ponytail territory :)
Keep on growing, and I will catch up to you sometime, I sewar!

I kind of like my hair because sometimes it has more or less curl. Usually as it dries more the curl kind of falls out. I usually comb it while it dries and that kind of takes some of the curl out. Thank goodness my hair seems to grow kind of fast. I thank you for the kind words and yes, I look forward to your long hair pics:) Have a great weekend, my friend!

I really appreciate your kind comments! Yes, I think Joao David has similar hair to mine also. Sometimes I get frustrated with my hair because of the texture. But then I tell myself to be thankful to be free of MPB or other difficulties. I think the main frustration is because I want it to be way past my shoulders already! by the way, your hair is very admirable! I really like the thickness and color you have. Wow Ted, that's some shiny hair! I wish I could get mine to look like that. You've got a sort of "slow wave" going on, it looks good!

Thanks so much for the nice words! I think the shininess may be because of the color. It seems I am getting some white or gray hairs mixed in with the brown. As far as the wave, I kind of like it because sometimes it's more wavy than other times. I like your term "slow wave". That's pretty cool. I can't wait to see how my hair looks when it gets longer. Some people's hair gets less wavy and some gets wavier. Either way I am enjoying the journey! Thanks again my friend and have a wonderful weekend!

It could get more wavy or the waves could straighten out with length. Either way, I am happy with my hair. I just want it to get longer! You have great shiny hair! Your hair texture is similar to mines only your hair looks more controlled when I was in your stage of hair growth. It's nice that you are really dedicated to this site by giving us monthly updates.

Wow, I really appreciate your kind words! Believe it or not, this pic was taken with nothing applied to my hair. I just washed with shampoo and conditioner. I always rinse my hair with the coldest water I can stand before I get out of the shower. This has made such a difference with my coarse hair texture. Plus, I only use shampoo once or twice a week.
I really like your hair. I especially like the color and thickness you have. I was really happy to see your updates on the LHC. I love this board and am thankful to be able to visit many times a day and get motivation. Keep up the great work mods! Take care of yourself and your beautiful hair my friend! Great weekend to you!
