Hi everybody,
I was checking to see if I could make a ponytail with my hair and lo and behold, I was able to! I guess my hair is getting longer than I thought! Not too shabby I say! Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday!

Thanks a bunch! I think it will look better when I grow out all the layers. The layers are causing the hair to flip all over the place I think.

I actually had applied a little of that Argan oil on my hair before this pic was taken. Yes, you are correct, we will get there! And I can't wait! I already have been getting strange looks from people and I love it! Believe it or not, my Mother-in-law was the first naysayer. She told me one day " I want to know what's going on with your hair". I simply told her that I was growing it and that we would not discuss it. My hair my way, period. My wife thinks it's cool. I keep telling her I'm going to catch up to her. Hers is at least mid-back length. Take care and have a great week my friend!

I really appreciate your kind words! I am starting to enjoy the length I'm getting now. I was surprised when I tried to do a ponytail it actually worked. I think my layers are keep ing the the tail from being nice and full. Can't wait until I grow close to all one length. Take care and have a great weekend my friend!

Thanks for the nice comments! I can't wait to be able to just let it fly everywhere! I probably will mainly wear my hair down since I am not able to work right now and don't have to worry about my hair length. And even when I do go back to work(have no idea when that will be) I am going to keep my hair. Hopefully it won't be a big deal since I will be working in IT field. But right now it's dialysis 3 times a week. I hope you have a great rest of the weekend my friend!

You must have hair that is quite thick. I estimate that only half or so reaches the hair tie right now and it is as big around as my tail. About 85% of my hair reaches the hair tie, despite being knee length. For all of us here, getting ALL OF IT to fit into a tail is impossible. We all have new hairs growing in all the time. With another year of growth, your ponytail should be quite big in girth. Happy growing.

Thanks for the kind words! You are indeed correct that not all of the hair reaches the tail. I was just fooling around and tried to make a tail. I was shocked to even be able to do it. I kind of figured that maybe all of a person's hair wouldn't fit into the tail. I guess it just appears that way on someone with very long hair.
Yes, I think in a year I should be showing some good progress. My hair is very thick and sometimes frustrates me. But I am happy with it so far. It's getting better every month and I can only dream of attaining your spectacular length. Right now I want at least mid-back length. Thanks again as you have been a big inspiration for me.
