Good morning, people of the MLHH! :)
I was reading quite a few experiences, reviews and comments about these products which supposedly help your hair grow faster, and was wondering what the opinion of the members here might be?
Anyone tried these products?
I am thinking of buying the 1l versions of both the shapoo and conditioner, and trying them out for a couple of months, and documenting the proccess here :)

A waste of money. Hair grows at its natural speed.
Well, by simply massaging the scalp we are stimulating hair production by incresing the blood flow to that area, so saying that hair only grows at it's natural place is a bit simplistic, If you ask me :)
For the record, the word "shampoo" comes from a Hindu word for scalp massage.

Now that you explain it, Oren... It really does sound like Indian ;)

Hi Raul,
Actually this product was mentioned by a user named Simon not too long ago.In fact if you scroll down this page, about half way, you'll find the thread referring to it.At that time I referred to it as a "snake oil treatment" being I questioned its claims of making ones hair grow faster.More likely it makes money in your wallet leave FAST.LOL.Anyway as the saying goes ....Let the buyer beware!Cheers

Hey Mark!
Thanks for the wanting, though the way i see it, sure doesn't hurt to try! My hair grows rather quickly as it is, even if it sure as hell doesn't feel so sometimes, but there's no harm in trying? What If it just might actually work? ;) will make sure to update here on the board as the time goes by :)
Haha I wondered if anyone would remember the thread I made about it as well :-) I gave up after 2 weeks of using the shampoo everyday because it didn't make any difference at all...it grew maybe 2mm at the most in that time. Maybe it's different if you use the conditioner as well ut I personally found it didn't make any difference at all. Let me know how you get on with it Raul :-)
Shall do, Simon! :)
I go by the scientific rule that your hair growth and it's health is already predetermined by your genes. You can take good care of yourself and eat good nutritious food to help accelerate your growth, but anything beyond that hasn't been made to happen or be scientifically proven to be 100 percent effective.
best,
rowie
Hey Rowie!
I appreciate your opinion and am definitely not claiming this works 100%, but seeing as I am already keeping a protein rich diet, take vitamins which help with hair health and am even taking that nasty omega-3, I don't see how trying out this would hurt. In the worst case scenario, I am wrong and this helps as much as any other placebo.... Don't you agree? :)
The biggest danger with this product are the individuals who
report in their on line reviews that it leads to hair loss.
(Just go to amaazon.com and look at the reviews for the product.
Personally I love my long hair, but even though I'd love to have it longer i'm not about to try this product and risk loosing alot
of hair.
One user describes it as Nair for your hair.
Reviews
Hi LHIA,
As with any other product, I would expect different people to react in different ways, and of course that it should be used with caution and monitored closely. Been reading those amazon reviews closely, but thanks for the warning! :)
I think the scariest post was from the person who had to shave
off all their hair after using this product. As someoen who
who has had long hair for all these years this product scares
me, as much as I'd love to have longer hair the last thing i'd want
to have to do is shave off all my hair.
As one poster called it, "Nair for your head." I'll stick with the old fasthioned growth rate of 1/2" per month.
