Hi everybody,
Just thought I would post a pic of my hair when it is wet. This picture is with my hair only washed with conditioner. This is two days without shampoo.(only washed with conditioner past two days. I am thinking of trying water only washing. Not sure how it will affect the appearance of the hair. I will post another pic after it dries. I sure hope you guys are not getting tired of these pics!
Looks like you have good progress going. It sure feels great to wash the hair. Good luck with WO, for me it dried out my hair and made it feel like hay even though I was consistent about oiling my hair with coconut oil.
Your hair looks nice and shiny with your current routine of CO. I think I might try CO, but I just don't want to get it greasy, but it shouldn't matter cause I only wash my hair once a week. I also avoid CO cause i'm a cone user. I'm glad you are trying out different methods and updating us on it. The only routine I cannot try is the "No water, sebum only." I just like washing too much that it took a lot from me to get adjusted to washing my hair only once a week.

I started using this routine after visiting the Long Hair community. They have a lot of information over there. I am still figuring out how my scalp is going to be with the conditioner only washing. It seems to be adjusting well. I don't know about the water only. I am pretty sure when I get past shoulder length, these methods will be better. I just keep thinking about that photo you posted on the LHC after you did that treatment! If I could just get my hair like that! Here is a pic of my hair after it dried today.

awww thanks. You can also get similar results by doing the SMT I did. I think the clarifying shampoo really relaxed my hair cause I know curls and waves don't like sulphates in general. In fact, in my next wash i'm so tempted to clarify my hair. hehehe.
Anyways, your hair is looking really nice and shiny. Keep up the current routine you are doing. Oh and i'd also avoid the baking soda with the acv treatment, I had a bad experience with this. Let's just say I had a giant aphro once my hair dried. ughh That was a nightmare to fix.

I appreciate the nice words my friend! However, I think I may continue to experiment with the conditioner only because it seems my scalp may not like it. I do know when I wash with shampoo my hair loses some of its wave. Like you I also like to wash my hair often. So I will just have to keep experimenting. That's the fun of all this!
