Hello all my long-haired friends how good to see all your update pictures and new posters.
I completed my Chemo at the end of last year, and have now started Radiotherapy. My hair is beginning to grow back and I am now more convinced than ever that I will be keeping it much shorter than it was before. I hope you will allow me to stay on the board,, as deep down, I will always remain a longhair. Good luck and good health to you all.
Hei Ian,
I am glad to see you are recovering nicely, and that your hair and health are getting back to normal again :) With that said, buddy- long hair or not, you are and always will be a part of this great community, and I am sure I speak for all the great people here when saying I hope you stick with us :)
Have a great Saturday, Ian! Godspeed!
Hi Ian,
I'm happy to hear you are on the road to recovery and hopefully once you complete all the treatments you won't ever have to revisit the process again.I can only imagine how scary it is to be faced with such an illness but I have to say you look great and very healthy.
I'm sorry to read that you won't be growing your hair back out to it's former glory but then I'm not in your shoes either.Like you our own Justin went through severe health issues that coast him his glorious mane and he has never grown it back again.Of course you will always be welcome here and even if you decide to grow an intermediate length that would be nice:)Anyway thanks for checking in with your old friends here and do stop back in again my friend.Cheers

Good Morning Ian,
Thank you very much for your nice update! You are looking splendid! I am happy to hear you have completed chemo and are doing well. I will always miss your lovely silver mane my friend! But you need to do what you are pleased with.
I certainly hope you continue to check in to the board. You will always be welcome here my friend! You have given me much inspiration and I appreciate that. Please have a wonderful weekend and be safe my friend! As Raul put it, Godspeed in your continued health improvement! Take care my friend!

Hi Ian and so glad I popped in here this AM. You have been through much, far too much than anyone can ever imagine unless it actually happened to them, and yet despite all you are looking great and the hair is growing back with a nice healthy look. Yes, a Longhair at heart and I understand completely. I think that you just might find great joy and satisfaction trying-out different shorter styles eventually, but if not, so what. The world is seen so differently when one has survived a major life threatening situation. Great to see you here Ian and of course you are welcomed here always as a very cherished member who is highly regarded and a great inspiration to us all. Wishing you a fabulous weekend and again, so wonderful to see your posting here today.
My best to you always-
Justin~
Hi Ian,
Thank you for popping in, and I am delighted that you are doing so much better, and my thoughts and prayers continue to be with you every step of the way for a full recovery. Remember that long hair or short, you will always be a treasured member of our community.
Take care,
David
Hello Ian,
You'll always be welcome here, of course! It's great to see your hair coming back in and that the chemo is behind you.
Ian! Great to see you re-sprouting.
You've earned your lifetime membership card here.
Best of health to you,
- Oren
Ian, it is so good to hear from you. Sending you some warm vibes your way for a speedy recovery and for faster hair growth. I remember seeing your hair growth pictures and I remember how fast your hair grows. I hope to be like you someday to fully affirm oneself as a longhair for life. :)
always,
rowie
What a pleasure to see your post here, Ian, and what a wonderful pic of you -- you're looking very good, and great to see your hair sprouting back again!!
Health and happiness are always more important that hair length, regardless of the name and main purpose of this hyperboard. Everybody has the right to grow, cut, and style the hair on their own head any way that they so choose. To me, this is the ultimate "Mission Statement" of this board (if MLHH ever had one - LOL)....
I am totally thrilled to see you back here again, and as far as my voice is concerned, I think of you as a lifetime member! I don't give a hoot how long or short your hair is (although I do confess to having a personal preference towards the longer - LOL); I just hope you feel free to swing by and say hello often!
Best Regards,
Ken in San Francisco
