Hey! It's been almost 2 months since my last update, so I decided to make another one.
Here are some pics of mine hair (front- and back-view).
The hair-growth is going pretty well. I'm not going to stop yet as I haven't reached my aim. I'm still not able to pluck my hair into a ponytail :)
Yet, I made some discoveries for myself. First one is... My hair is slowly getting grey. A year or so ago I found some noticeable grey strands of hair. I thought it was some kind of a single spot on my head. But Recently I found more and more grey strands all over the head. And yeah, it's not grey only at the ends - it has grey color near at the roots. Huh. I'm not sure if it's ok, but... Grey hair of mine is pretty strong. It's not falling out. And it has different structure.
Secondly... I hope it's all right, and it's just seasonal (spring etc) - noticed that the hair fall increased. It's falling from different places, not from those that are common for baldness-problems.
And yet, I love being a long-haired a lot. It's so different every day! Sometimes it has more volume, sometimes less. Sometimes I have extreme curliness at the ends, sometimes it's as straight as everywhere. It's so cool!

You have very nice hair but can't believe you are going grey in some spots.I had a little grey present in my hair just before I hennaed it so now who knows what it would have looked like in the years ahead had I left it the natural color.Still you look great in long hair in spite of what naysayers might imply.Thanks for your update and pics:)Nice! I have to be honest and tell you, if I could pick one type of hair as my own, YOUR type of hair would be it! Love the straight, a bit wavy texture, and even the color is awesome! You are one lucky guy, shedding or not! ;)
Wow, Raul! Thank you a lot! As you said earlier in some other comment, looks like we always wish something we can't have :) Cause I'd rather choose your so called "Mop" :)
But still, I love my hair, especially now when I'm almost out of awkward stage. It changed alot since then :)

Grey hair is a fact of life, some people will end up with quite a bit of it early on and others won't. A few grey hairs here and there is barely noticeable, its when you start getting a lot that you have to decide how you'll deal with it. Some people fully embrace their grey, while others will attempt to hide it as much as possible. It's an individual decision, there's no right or wrong answer.

In recent days I've been lurking alot around different resources with pics of long-haired guys. Occasionally came across your fb and watched pics of your hair. I liked them alot!
Concerning grey hair... Don't know yet. I'm sure that it won't come to me completely in at least half a dozen of years. Still, I don't think I'll be hiding or masking it.

At the age of 58 I have lots of grey hair. And I fully intend to keep every grey hair grey and long until the day I die. So when i'm in my 90s i'll long hair that is either all grey or all white. And it will stay the color nature intended it to be.
And it will be long.

I have to agree with Raul. If I could have my choice of hair type, I would want hair just like yours! The color and just enough waviness is perfect! It's hard to believe you still can't make a ponytail. Like you, I have many gray hairs. They give my hair a strange color when mixed with the brown. I wish my hair would turn all gray like Ian's. That would look very cool. I think the shedding is normal. You just notice it because it's longer.

Your hair changed sooo much since last months! Especially it's condition - probably it's just perfect :) At least it looks like that. Can't wait to see it longer! It's so pitty you decided to avoid updates for some time! Hope you'll change your mind :)
Concerning a ponytail. Yeah, it's strange. But fellows from this forum with hair type similar to mine said that it's a common thing for us. I'll just have to wait for a bit longer. Still, it's not a problem as I love the way hair grows.

Oh, in addition to my previous response. Forgot to say. Love Matthias Jabs and Scorpions band! Last year they came to Ukraine, and I visited their concert. Oh, it was simply awesome! Pitty Matthias doesn't have long hair anymore. But he is still sooo cool!

You have amazing hair, as some others have already commented on. Mine is way too curly to look like yours and I'm envious! I guess we all have our complaints!
Keep posting updates. You should be able to do a ponytail soon, but I think it looks so good as it is you may not want to do it.

I love your hair. It looks pretty similar to how mine is going: similar colour, similar texture and similar length - although mine is perhaps slightly wavier, especially after I backcomb it.
My hair has now reached the same length as yours - although it has less volume on the sides due to my g/f layering it during my trim last year. I'm waiting for the layers to grow so my hair will be more even all over.
I get the occasional grey hair too but I just ignore them. There's only ever one or two. No big deal.
Yeah, I love the way long hair changes each day too. People with short hair don't know what they're missing!
