Hey guys, first time poster here. Been lurking for a while here. I think I'm finally there, my hair's lenght is more than enough for my objective (shoulder lenght).
I'm kind of afraid though. My hair now looks messy and not so good. The hair itself is great, all hairdressers tell me so, but the waves it does and the vast volume of hair goes against a neat look.
In a few days I'll go get my haircut, going for a Kurt Cobain/ Eddard Stark (GoT) look... I'm uncertain about wheter it will look good or not. I'd feel bad if it looks... bad, it would mean I've wasted almost 2 years of growth...
So that's my story, sorry if I bored ya. Just a question, does anyone have any tips to tie up hair like in the pic I posted?
That's just a half tail.
Last time I grew my hair out I tied it up 'warrior style'. It was fun. Kept the front out of my eyes, but let the back and sides flow! I like the look.
We are our own worst critics...remember that. If people are telling you you have a nice head of hair, go with it. Some key advice I can tell you is take a picture of what you want to your hairstylist. Get your hair cut like that and then take a pic of yourself AS SOON as you are finished to have to show them the next time, that is, if they did it right and you like the cut. AS for warrior style, I usually run my index finger or a pick along the tops of my ears to get even amounts of hair on both sides then just pony it. Simple as that. Goodluck!
Ok I have to ask, what exactly is "warrior style?"
