I always worry about going bald and the shape of my hairline...In this pic my hair was heavily gelled but...Is it my hairline suitable for growing my hair long, without looking silly?

Absolutely your hairline is suitable for growing your hair long. I can't think of ant situation where long hair on a man looks silly. You have a great color to your hair along with some very nice waviness! I say go for it! Take care!

It is good. My hairline is as high or even higher and my hair is over 3 feet long.

I know how you feel as I am, too, always concerned about my hairline and going bald, just cause long hair and hair in general means so much to who I perceive to be ´me´... but as the others have said, you have nothing to worry about... go for it, and sport some dark, manly curls, bro! :D
Every hair line is suitable for growing long hair.
I've even seen guys with a bald spot on top but they've still grow the sides long.
Ultimately it is your hair and your decision as to how long it should be and how it worn.
I guess you shouldn't worry about that now.
Once your hair gets longer and longer you will have so much hair that you will not even notice it.
