I am glad you didn't wait Ted. Your hair is looking better each day. At this point, updates as often as every 2 months will show a dramatic difference. Keep it growing.

Many thanks for your very kind words! With much patience I shall get to mid-back length at least! I am having fun watching the different "moods" my hair seems to have. Some days it looks straighter than others. I am hoping the waviness stays around as it gets longer. I have read that sometimes the weight of longer hair pulls the curls out.
With the help of MLHH I shall get to my goal length! Thanks to the mods for keeping this board going! And also thank all the members-your photos and posts keep me going! May all your manes have super growth! Great week to everybody on the MLHH!

Lookin' Good, Ted. Love the waves, texture and color. You have a good head of hair. and it will continue to grow, not only in length but in it's health and beauty. Do you ahve a specific length foal. yety? i have settled on mid back. It was my "Historic' 70s length. and suits me well, today.

Many apologies for the delayed reply! Today was a rough dialysis day for me. I really appreciate the very kind words! If it looks anything like your hair, I shall be thoroughly satisfied! My goal is at a minimum mid-back length. Probably looking at at least 2-3 years. I can wait though. It's just now starting to kind of hang in the back which feels good. Yes, your hair definitely suits you well! I hope you have a wonderful week my friend!

I thank you kindly for your nice words! I have to get my hair to mid-back length soon! Sometimes I get frustrated with it because it seems to not be growing. Hopefully I don't lose too much of the wave when it gets longer. We shall see. That is the fun about growing our hair!
Of course, I will be anxiously awaiting your updates as well! Your hair is going to look awesome when it gets longer! And also your beard is pretty nice too! Hope you have a wonderful week my friend!

Starting to get some length now, how does it feel, feeling it touch the back of your neck and shoulders? Don´t even remember the feeling anymore here!

Many thanks for your kind words! It's funny you like my color because I kind of wish it was still dark. I think what you might be seeing is the slow but sure graying of my hair! But that's just fine with me! As long it keeps growing downward, we are fine! Yes, I am proud to have thick hair with some wave to it.
I should have known I wouldn't hold out! I definitely am liking the feeling of the hair just touching the back of my neck. Also, I can tell it's getting longer because I keep shaking the front part ou of my face! It's pretty cool! I think it's neat how Mother Nature tends to make our hair look nice on her own. As my layers grow out, my hair seems to be evening itself out. We just have to let it grow and see how it changes. Very fun journey I must say!
I am also watching your updates with excitement. I can't wait to see the whole package with your ear gauges, tats, and beard. You are going to be one cool teacher my friend! Patience my brother and we shall get there! Keep up the good work teaching!

Hi Ted, sorry for the late response as being on vacation I'm a little behind.lol.It would be worse if I didn't have an iphone to keep up while out and about.As usual both you and your hair are looking great!Just be careful not to be checking your growth too much as that might drive you crazy being its like watching grass grow;)Anyway hope your week is going well as I'm certainly enjoying mine:)Cheers

Thanks a bunch for the nice words! I hope you had a wonderful vacation as it was probably too short! I appreciate the kind comments about my appearance! Believe me, there will be no going crazy or thinking of cutting or trimming!
But I want to know why my grass grows so much faster than my hair! I'm having a great week and every day is what I make it. Today is dialysis day so have to be bored for 4 hours. At least it's only 3 days per week. I can also take the computer with me so that's cool. Plus, there is another guy at the clinic with almost waist length hair. He told me he had to cut off quite a bit due to tangling. Bummer. His hair was below waist length before he cut it. His hair is very fine. Pretty cool to have a fellow longhair at dialysis.
