Hello, everyone!
This is the first time in my life I am going for a long hair. To be honest with you - this is what I always wanted to have, but due to my work, and I am work with people, I had a kind of inner limits, which I could not overcome for some time. Now I think differently and decided to go for what I want, not other people expect me to look like. So, it is about ten months I did not trim my hair. My hair is quite thick and wavy, so I use a lot of products to "calm" my hair down. My wife advises me to go for a trimming, but I strongly believe that I have to grow hair first. Right? Greetings!
Hello Lightstorm, welcome to the board!
I'm glad you've decided to make this decision for yourself. Trust me, there's nothing better than when your outward appearance matches how you truly see yourself. I never used to smile when I looked in the mirror, but that changed when my hair started getting long.
Have a wonderful journey!
Thanks, buddy!
Hi lightstorm,
Welcome to the board! You have come to the right place for encouragement and advice to grow your hair. You definitely have some great hair to work with. I think when your hair gets longer possibly you won't need as many products. The added length and weight will probably help it to lay flatter. At least this is what I keep telling myself:) I do think you should do what is in your heart. I am fortunate because my wife fully supports me growing my hair. I hope your wife comes around to support you also.
Please don't put any limits on yourself and let it grow! I believe you will be pleasantly surprised with the results. I do look forward to your future updates. Please let it grow and flow! Have an awesome week my friend!

We've all gone through this stage so we are here for you whenever it gets challenging , and especially when you get those monents where you feel like you need a chop, feel free to update us and welcome to the long hair journey towards individuality. :) There is lots to learn and you can find a lot of answers here.
