Hello,
I started growing my hair from a shaved head last august. It's about six inches right now, and 'm wondering when the best time to cut the back is. I want to let the front catch up with the back, so I'll eventually neeed to cut away the hair in back. Is it better to cut it now, or wait till I can get the whole head in a pony tail and then even things out. I'm a little worried that if I cut now, it will look like a girls bob cut. Any thoughts???

The best time is never :) Anyway, thats what I will do.
Once you can get it all into a tail, then it won't matter if the back is longer. The tail will hide that fact. Actually, the longer hair in back will just make your tail look longer. The front will catch up with the back naturally within several years.
