Hey guys,
Its Kentucky Derby time here. That's along the lines of MardiGras in New Orleans. We are going to a derby party with friends and I was thinking of debuting a ponytail for it. My hair fits pretty well and I think it'll be a good look for a spring party.
I'm finding that I'm nervous about it for some reason. Not sure why. Oh well. Ill update on whether I actually do it or not.
By the way...I think I'm going with Normandy Invasion this year.

Hi Tony,
I sure hope you decide to rock the tail to the party! You would look great and there's nothing to be nervous about. I kept telling myself I would not like ponytails, but the closer I get to being able to do it, I'm ready. Please let us know what you decide to do.
I haven't done any research on the ponies(no pun intended!) I enjoy watching the Derby though. Not really a gambler either. I do wish I lived there so I could maybe see the horses close up. Those are the most beautiful horses I have ever seen. I had a friend who raced a few horses at Retama but sadly, he passed away. Those horses get treated better than humans! Have fun at the party!

I would say wear your hair the way you want to, ignore what
others will say.
Much of the time I wear my hair loose, although i've worn it
in a pony tail, braids, pig tails, buns, etc. At the age of
58 I gave up being concerned about what others think. It's my
hair, i'll wear it the way I want to wear it, which means
it will be long until the day I die.
So you should proudly go to the party wearing your hair the way
you want to wear it.
You should not be nervous about it, I'd be more nervous about
conforming to the short hair many of the other guys have. After all it is your hair.
Have fun at the party, Tony.. and we want pictures!!! :D
Hey guys,
Thanks for the support! I wore my hair down. I wasn't really happy with the tail and it looked better down. Great party although my horse lost. My six year old; however pocked the winner! I read up on all the horses, trainers track conditions, etc. He like the way the name sounded!!!
