I AM TRYING TO STYLE MY HAIR LIKE BRAD PITT'S IN "LEGENDS OF THE FALL" BUT I CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT THEY USED IN HIS LONG HAIR TO CONTROL IT LIKE THAT. I HAVE TRYED GELS,MOOSE,LEAVE IN COND. BUT HAVE HAD NO LUCK FINDING THAT MAGICAL PRODUCT THAT WILL CONTROL MY THIN FLY-AWAY HAIR.
IS THERE SOME SECRET "STUFF" THAT THE PRO'S USE ON STARS HAIR, SO IT DOSE NOT LOOK LIKE IT HAS GOT 10 POUNDS OF HAIR SPRAY IN IT, OR IS IT
SOME SECRET WAY THEY USE THESE PRODUCTS???
First, turn your caps lock off.
Now, allow me to refresh your memory about one of the secrets of movie making magic when it comes to the appearance of the lead actors.
After every scene is shot, there's about a 5-10 minute break the actors are given before the next shoot (maybe longer, depending on how much goofing around is done on the set). SOMETIMES, if the actor's looking particularly disheveled after a scene, they have a whole bunch of makeup crew come out and tidy up a bit. This creates the ILLUSION of the actor having near-perfect hair all the way through the movie. Beyond that, they use whatever they use for hair care, but there isn't any really POTENT stuff that you can use to create the same effect, unless of course you'd want to go through several "breaks" throughout your day just to freshen up (grin).
Something else to consider: in a lot of cases, the hair the actor is wearing isn't even hair they've grown. It's either woven in or sewn in, and the texture and composition of the hair, whether it's natural or synthetic, can make a HUGE difference in how the hair behaves during scenes.
Sounds SEXY!!!!! Can we see pic Jamie?
