Thought you guys might find this video interesting.
Not only has he great locks. But he seems like a brave, intelligent young man.

Note that this will not work on a desktop. Remove the m. from the above URL to run on the desktop. M. takes you to the mobile site I believe.
It works, but it says the same thing either way - removed by user. There's nothing there.
That apparently occured in the intevening months. The video did
work at the time although you had to go the desktop site to view
it on your desktop.
Which raises the question, did the school make him take it down?
Thanks for posting that great video as it made my Friday:)Don't know what I was more impressive, his awesome blonde mane or his well deserved outburst at that teacher;) LOL Cheers

I am a teacher with waist length hair...
This video is totally out of context. We have no idea what is happening. I just see a student who is ranting, not following directions, and is being disrespectful. There is a time and place for a student to make comments, but in front of class is not it. It just shows immaturaty and disrespect.
No logical conclusions should be inferred by just viewing the video.
I do support his long hair!
Well this is true but he seemed very passionate about his frustration with this teacher and at least wasn't tossing out the "F" bomb every other word.Out of line maybe but if he had a legitimate beef this was more effective being the teacher likely will always remember this moment.Oh yes,his hair is epic:)Cheers

I'm not a teacher but I would have to agree. He does have great hair but we have no idea what came before this rant. Granted it's been alot of years since I graduated from high school but
I still remember all those years.
I keep hearing people slamming teachers but they always miss the
factors that come into play when a kid performs bad in school.
Factors like coming to school hungry, parents who don't make their kids go to school, do their homework, or crack the book
open to read the material. And then there are other factors too
but a video like this shows us none of the factors that came prior to this outburst.
Look at this way: skip eating tonight and tomorrow morning and
then look at how well you do your job tomorrow. Or have a huge
fight with a wife/sister/brother/etc. and then see how well you
perform on your job tomorrow. There are just too many factors that have to be taken into account in this situation.
But he does have great hair.
I have to agree with you. Without any context this does come across as a disrespectful student. But, it does also ring true that he was genuinely frustrated with his teacher. There has obviously been a previous altercation. We will probably never know the details though.
On the upside, the guy has got some serious hair and is not afraid to stand up for what he believes, albeit in a less than ideal manner in this case.
Indeed, we don't know what preceded it, but it's a good bet part of it was the teacher being disrespectful.
Following that logic, then if the teacher made comments about the student in front of the class, that also showed "immaturity and disrespect". I'd disagree. When disrespected, often it's more effectively countered by challenging it at the time. If you disrespect someone in a public place, don't complain later about the venue where the inevitable played out.
These are general comments, because as others said, we don't know what happened before the video was shot. We don't know who threw the first verbal punch.

Apparently he did have legitimate beef. Here is a link with added interview. The extra background helps explain his behavior much better. Plus more hair.
A little more info
I was reading further on this I would mention that he went on this
tiraid after he was thrown out of class, also that in Texas the
schools are extremely against critical thinking.
It should also be noted that Texas is the largest text book
buyer in the country, and the Texas education system is
dicatating what goes into school textbooks. Texas got alot
of fundamentalist Christians elected to school boards and those
fundamentalist Christians are dictating what topics are included in text books and what is excluded. (Think evolution)
Also that this teacher only needed to take a couple courses to be able to teach.
I agree that yes, Texas schools are a bit... Well, not up to par. I feel like the kid is probably justified in his actions, and considering that he only cusses one time is pretty amazing. I couldn't do that at that age if I had tried, especially not when pushed to outrage. I had the distinct impression that this was probably the teacher's fault as she came across as lazy even in how she kicked him out of class. Some people just shouldn't teach.
Teachers have a tough gig though, they really do. I have several friends that teach and they all feel they're doing it with their hands tied behind their backs so to speak. I, like the kid, see this more as a failure of the system than just one poor teacher though.

Hey Siege,
Thanks for posting that link as it certainly sheds more light on what happened
in that classroom. Yes he could have expressed his concerns in a more dignified manner but frankly I applaud his courage to just speak his mind in this spontaneous way. The fact that it was caught on a cell phone video and posted on the net gives it much more weight than if only the students in the classroom saw it. I can imagine many teachers all over needing to look themselves in the mirror and wondering if "they" can do better. This dude desreves a medal!Cheers

The other video was removed by the original poster (who appears to have been one of the other students in the class). So, this is just what he said when thrown out of class, not something that he posted on YouTube himself.
Apparently his mother is a teacher, and the likely source of his own views that his history teacher is inadequate. He might even be right. Why she threw him out, though, isn't explained, nor whether she threw him out of that particular day's class or the whole history course. It's hard to imagine her giving him a good grade, though, however well or badly he really did.
Nice hair!
