Guys,
Alert to longtime longhairs: This is an oh -so -newbie post!! My hair is just below shoulder length! I was walking into my son's school for a program today and had a really cool experience. The wind was blowing in the early evening sun and I noticed my shadow with longish hair blowing around. Its one of the many little pleasures of my hair getting longer! On the ride to the school, I had the windows down with some Coldplay on. I loved the feeling of the wind blowing in my hair. It was a wonderful longhair in the spring moment!!
Thanks for indulging this newbie 's experiences!!!
Tony
Hi Tony,
This is a wonderful post! Sounds like you were enjoying yourself! Gotta love Coldplay and having your hair blowing in the wind! Just think one of these days you will be the longtime longhair being alerted! Please keep it growing and take care!
Ted
Hey Tony! I can understand you so much! At the moment I'm experiencing just the same - it's something unbelievable, I never had such a feeling when I was sporting a buzzcut. When the wind starts blowing you've got to have long hair, that's true :)
As far as I understand, it's not healthy for some types of hair when it's really long. But damn, love the feeling so much :)
Good luck to you, and thanks for your impressions!
Serge.
I certainly can't do it all the time, but I'm willing to pay for the bit of added damage if I want to wander about with it down sometimes.
Man Trolleypup! I guess I am going to have to get used to damage! I am planning on wearing my hair down 98 percent of the time. Granted, I may never get to your length, but I just love seeing long hair down and flowing! Hopefully mine doesn't tangle that much:)

Tony,
It only gets better! Keep it growin' 'n' flowin'!
peace,

As cool as it may be to have you hair blowing in the wind I
avoid it all costs. That is when I put it in a pony
tail/braid/bun/pig tails/etc. to avoid damage from the wind.
Especially tangles.
I love having my long hair cascading down my back, but I'm
very careful to avoid anything that could potentially damage
the hair.
And yes wind can do a job on hair especially tangles.
My big thing was walking down the stairs and feeling my hair bounce for the first time.
