In the Spring of 96. not long after I had pirchsed my 1st pld Thunderbird. (Hince it's unrestored look) I took it on a "shakedown" cruise with members of my car club. Of course, such things a a blown tire can result with old iron. This shows I did indeed have longhair in the 90s as well. All neatly tied in a tail for the business at hand.
Ha ha, great picture of you and the bird and so funny as I have a jack just like that sitting in my garage as I type this!Same color too!Strange though as the jackman looks like Tony Soprano to me.LOL.Yea I know, I'm weird;)Cheers

That was Jim. I had forgotten to put a proper floor jack in the car. so had to use that hgoorid bumper jack. Jim was a good guy. And I see the resemblance, but not at all like Tony Soprano.
Hmmmm yea,I always wondered about that jack every time I saw it out in the garage and never knew it to be used on any of our cars.Well it was my dads so guess he felt the need to keep it around for whatever.LOL.We always used the bumper jacks that came with the cars.
Oh I'm sure Jim was a nice guy but that angle of him just made me think of Tony!He he.Cheers

Awesome car!!
Those old bumper jacks made great tire bead breakers too.
Hi Jason,
A wonderful pic of you and your 'Bird! It looks great even in unrestored condition. Guess the shakedown cruise revealed the bad tire. You look great with your long hair though I'm sure messing with that tire was less than pleasant. Cool pic and I thank you for sharing it!
