I went to a college reunion last weekend. It was great to catch up with people I hadn't seen in 20 years - and I had the longest hair there. One of the girls wanted to know what she'd look like with long hair and asked if she could "borrow" mine for a photo.
Haha, great photo! Your hair is not only very long but obviously in great condition too. That is some serious length!
Thanks, Jason.
It's getting there. I haven't reached terminal yet, so we'll see how it goes over the next few years. That photo actually kicked off a rush and quite a few others also wanted to borrow my hair, including some of the guys. Who knows, some of them may decide they want to join the club.
Hi Viking,
Man, you really have much longer hair than the girl! It looks wonderful in color and texture. I really like the curls. Glad to hear you had the longest hair there-but kind of sad people don't seem to like long hair anymore. Hope you had a good time at the reunion. Great week to you my friend!
Ted
Thanks, Ted.
She was complaining that she hasn't been able to grow her hair longer than shoulder length since she started bleaching it. I normally wear it in a braid, so the curls aren't natural. We all had a great time, but dancing into the wee small hours made me realise that I'm not as fit as I used to be and I definitely need to lose some weight!
Hi Viking,
Well, I can tell you. The bleaching is probably not helping her hair. I think this is one of the reasons men have healthier long hair than a lot of women. We usually don't do all those bad things to our hair. Of course, some people just have sensitive hair and such. Needless to say, your hair is a sight to behold.
It's been a few years since I have partied into the wee hours of the night! And I can certainly agree with you about needing to lose weight! I know for a fact I am not as fit as I once was! Glad you had a good time though! Great rest of the week to you my friend!

Your hair is seriously long. Knee length? Longer? Mine is knee length. Hopefully she enjoyed buying it for awhile.
Scott
Thanks, Scott.
It actually only reaches a couple of inches below my butt, but I'm hoping to be able to achieve knee length one day. She joked later that if I ever cut my hair off I should give her first refusal so she could use it for extensions as it's a similar colour to her own.
Your hair is magnificent. I highly suspect that most people, men and women, secretly desire to have long hair, but are afraid of the narrow minded comments they may receive from family and friends. They may also be concerned with the amount of time and patience it takes to achieve and maintain long hair. But thankfully, there are people such as yourself who provide inspiration. Thank you.
Thanks, Marco.
To be honest, when it gets beyond a certain length hair maintenance becomes a lot easier. I wash and oil it a couple of times a week and brush and braid it morning and evening. That only takes a few minutes, and I'd say I spend less than half as much time on hair care as I did when I had a No.2 buzz.
In financial terms, I'm spending less too because I'm washing it less often and not using gels and waxes. A £5 bottle of jojoba oil lasts a long time when you only use a few drops a week and in the eight years or so since I last had a haircut, I estimate that I've saved over £2,000 in haircuts alone, and goodness knows how much on products.
I would note that even though you might spend more on conditioner,
oils, shampoo, you're saving the $30 you'd spend every two
weeks at the barber shop getting a buzz cut. So that is $780 a year you're not spending. Think of it as a reward for you hair
farming.
But he thing to keep in mind is the time to grow you hair long
is now while 1. you're able to grow hair and 2. you're still above ground.
Once you shuffle off this mortal coil is too late to try growing your hair.
OMG ! - your hair is 'Beyond-Belief' ( in a good way ) - a true 'Rupunzel' - your care of ur mane is evident - truly majestic & inspiring !!! - great pic. !!! - CEM. :))
Thank you.
