It's only been 5 months since I started growing my hair back out but it's coming along nicely. I really have missed my hair and I'm enjoying it more and more every day. This was taken shortly after a shower. Normally my hair looks better the next day but I didn't want to wait.
Hi CJ,
This is great progress for 5 months! You have the perfect type of hair to grow long! It probably won't take you very long to get past shoulder length. I must say I am slightly jealous of the straightness of your hair! Plus, you don't seem to have any white/gray hairs either:)
I must agree with you about the hair looking better the day after washing. I sometimes go 3 days without washing. Kind of gets greasy but I like the way it looks. Please keep it growing and flowing!

Ted,
It's funny, I'm a little jealous of your type of hair. One of those "the grass is always greener" type things. Having straight fine hair is pretty great for length if not body though and I'm normally pretty happy to have this type. As for the gray hairs hopefully I inherited my dad's genes for that (I inherited all of his other hair genes so why not?). He didn't even start going gray until his mid 50s. At least not on the top of his head.
Hi CJ,
I completely understand your point about the grass is always greener. I have come to accept my hair type and just live with it. I am, however, flattered by your jealousy:) But I am anxiously looking forward to your hair being long again after seeing your past pics.
I hope you do inherit your Dad's anti gray hair genes. My Dad also had jet Black hair until the day he passed away.
Please keep growing your hair and have a great coming week my friend!
Ted
Looking good, Siege! Definitely fun to see how while you're a month behind me, the har on the front of your head seems longer than mine! The magic of straight fine hair vs wavy thick hair! ;)
Keep up the good work!
I started from a traditional men's side part business cut so my bangs were already a bit long though I'm sure having straight hair helps too.
Woah, that's pretty long for five months, especially with you having a high forehead. You must have that "fast growing hair" gene. Color me jealous!
My hair doesn't really grow all that fast. I had some of it fairly long (for short hair) with my previous hairstyle. It's paying dividends now though. I kept the top and bangs fairly long for a nice classic side part, think Mad Men style.
