Hit 7 months this week, and all the other pictures posted inspired me to start keeping better track. I've only take a few pictures the last month or so, but I did manage to find one of about 1 month after my last cut. Hopefully you can pardon my horrible photo editing skills, but here we go!

Wow, this is a wonderful update of your progress! You have some very nice thick, dark hair to work with! It also appears to be on the straight side so you should have no trouble getting good length fast. Your hair looks to be in fantastic condition! I would say you have the type of hair a lot of us here would love to have!
I love how you put together the pics to show progress. Please keep us updated as I would love to see your hair at mid-back length! Hope you have a wonderful weekend my friend!

Thanks Ted, yea it's pretty straight, although the back always kind of curls up. I'm not sure if its just the position where its at, or if its got some weird curl at the end. I guess I'll find out...
My hair has always been dark brown/black looking, but the longer it gets the lighter its becoming. You can't tell in the pictures, but in some places it's almost reddish blonde looking now. Is that normal?

I think your hair will probably straighten out when it gets past your shoulders. A lot of this depends on where and how your hair sits when it dries. People with borderline straight hair with just a little wave can actually comb out some of the wave as it dries. If there is too much wave/curl it is harder to do this.
Needless to say, your hair will look great when it gets longer. Please keep it growing!

Hey nice hair! It's coming along nicely and looks great for just 7 months, please do keep us updated. I've grown my hair out a couple times but this is the first time I've tried to keep any record of it. I think it is an effective motivational tool, at least for me anyways.
I agree, it does seem to be pretty motivational to see progress! I feel like it's been a year or more but only 7 months haha.

Wow, now THAT is great progress for sure. Not horrible photos at all. My best to you for continued long hair success. It is going to look fabulous for sure. :-)
