I've been thinking that this whole process may seem less snail like if I set some interim goals instead of focusing on an end goal. Therefore, I think this will be my first! Hoping I can get here in 6-9 more months...I'm guessing this is 8" - 10" of length?

I think you could achieve this length in 9 months. This is a great first goal. Is your hair straight like the person in the picture? If not, it might take a little longer to appear that length. Please keep it growing!

Yes it's straight. Let's see 9 more months will put me 17 months total.
Oh yes, straight hair is easy to get length faster. Straight length always appears longer than wavy/curly hair.
Looking at your previous pic, I think this is definitely attainable in your time frame. The guy in that pic looks like he has layers, but it seems the longest parts are about a foot. I think you're looking at about the Solar New Year for that length.
