  Hello! This is recent picture of me, took one year after last hair cut. I used the iron to straighten the hair, otherwise it is a real mess.

    I'd have to say your hair does look fabulous but would be interesting to see what it looked like before the straightening.You have to be careful with straightening your hair too much as it will cause damage eventually.Your hair isn't super long yet but are you looking to grow it longer than it currently is?Thanks for your pic and interest in the board and hope to hear more from you in the future my friend.Cheers

      Hello again and thanks for the nice words! This is way I look all the time and in this way of styling the hair is not look quite long as it looks after the iron. And y3s, I would like to grow my hair a bit longer. Just to discover "the other side" of my usual look. Thank you, lightstorm.

        Greetings, lightstorm. I really like the way your hair looks in this image. Ironing it does damage. I did the same thing 20 years ago, when it was about your length, so I know.

        You have an interesting handle. The only reference I can think of is an aura which is a migraine related condition.

        Thank you for the additional pic as you also look great with the wild hair just as you do with it straightened :)You remind me of a user we have here known as nuttidave who has very similar hair.I've never known curly hair as mine has always been dead straight my whole life.I do admit your straightened hair looks very cool!Cheers my friend.

        I have looked at both pics which you supplied; straightened and natural. Both look great, however, I prefer the natural curly look. My opinion. Res de gustibus non disputante. You can't dispute things of taste.

        Welcome to the board! I like both of the ways you wear your hair. However, I must say I do like the naturally curly look better. In this photo your hair appears either wet or with some type of oil on it. I do believe your hair would look just great at say, mid-back length. Please keep it growing and flowing!     Your hair looks great both with the straightened look and natural.

    MLHH is a wonderful community where we all encourage each other and share out experience. You may want to browse through the members directories for some wonderful examples of guys with long curly hair.....take a little longer to get there, but the results are fantastic.

    We have had some horror stories from guys who have used/abused flattening devices. Good Luck and Thanks for Sharing
