Thanks for all of the compliments they are appreciated, and now for a bit about me. I live in Nevada, but travel around the west a lot for work. I have had what would generally qualify as long hair since I was in high school (now 44) with the exception of about 15 years ago when I cut it only to start growing it back out immediately. At present I am not growing it I just keep it aobut this length as this is about the max I can really manage and its plenty long for me. Also I am proud to say I am raising another long hair at home. My 13 year old son has hair part way down his back. He decided to grow it long when he was 7 and as kept it long since, though never any extreme lengths by long hair standards.

Also the fact your son is interested in longhair too is awesome!My hair history is similar to yours as I started growing my hair long after I was finished with high school and have kept it long up to present time:)So needless to say my whole adult life has been long haired and I'm proud of that fact:)Hope to see you around more often as I'm sure you have some hair stories to tell my friend.Cheers
