Hello everyone,
Hope you all are havind a wonderful week which is almost over. I decided to post an update since it has been about a month since the last one. My hair seems to finally be filling out in the back. Slowly but surely growing out the layers I had.
Everybody have a safe and long weekend! Please keep your hair growing and flowing!

You hair is showing some healthy color,texture, and wave. It is looking marvelous and will continue to do so as it lengthens. Don't you just love it.

I thank you kindly for your nice remarks! I am trying my best to hang in there! Hopefully my waves will be nice and evenly arranged at longer length. Yes, I am just loving the journey! My hair is starting to sit on my shoulders nicely.

I thank you very much for your kind words! I am trying to keep my hair looking good as it grows. I am glad to hear I look happy! I am in fact happy! Life is good and I believe we are in control of how our lives go. We have to make the best of our situation.

I thank you for your very kind words! I tried to go longer until posting but couldn't do it. I am pleased with how my hair is looking now. I do think it will look great when it gets longer.

Many thanks for very nice reply! I am slowly but surely getting some length. It definitely is feeling good sitting on my shoulders and brushing my upper back. Before too long, it will be going down my back. The thickness is nice, but sometimes it bugs me.

Very cool Ted, I must say I am slightly jealous! Looks like you could almost do a ponytail if you wanted to...
I'm sure everyone feels the same way at some point during their grow out stage, but when I look at myself right now compared to last month it doesn't seem like a lot of progress is made in some months!
I am hitting 8 months this week so I may take some pics and post them too...

I appreciate your very kind reply! I can do a high ponytail, but the front layers don't reach yet. I think noticing progress becomes even more difficult the longer the hair gets. I do know what you mean by not noticing much progress! I try to ignore my hair so it doesn't bother me.

Seems like we might be on the same page in terms of length. I'm at 15 months as of now though and I've already measured it out to...give or take 9 1/2 inches. In any case though it's good to see someone who's on the same wavelength in terms of length!

Yes, I think we are at about the same length-I think yours may be longer though. I am using August 2012 as my starting point. I had a standard men's haircut then. Can't wait to get to mid-back at a minimum! We will have to watch each other's updates.

Looking good, my friend! It's looking thicker and it has a pronounced waviness that really sets it off. It's gonna look great with some more length. What does your wife think?

I very much appreciate your kind reply! Yes, my hair is thicker than I would sometimes care to have it! But I guess that's better than having thinning or balding. I am not really sure how much of the waviness will stay with more length and more weight. I certainly won't mind the waves! Not sure I could deal with super straight hair. Both hair types have their good points, I guess. My wife just loves it. I keep telling her I am going to catch up to her length! I just cut hers recently so that will help me. I am very blessed to have an understanding wife! Now my Mother-In-Law...that's another story.
