As I watch these videos I have to ask how do you headbang without getting a migraine?
Every time I watch a video of headbanging it screams to me
migraine time.
And then there are tangles...........
For me there are alot of pros for having long and no real cons.
After 49 years of having long hair there are exactly zero cons
to having long hair. After 49 years i've got it down to science
where I can zip int the shower and get ready in what is only a few minuets more than if i had short hair. I finger comb the hair, eliminate the tangles without damage and then let the hair air dry. It drys pretty fast. After 49 years i've learned how to avoid getting the hair caught in doors, in my mouth, etc. and
to ignore stupid comments from stupid people.
After 49 years long hair is a part of me. Cutting my hair would be akin to cutting off my left hand or my rigth foot.
For me the pros include:
1. I want it long
2. I like it long.
3. it's as much a part of me as an arm or leg.
4. i can wear it lots of different ways depending on
the mood of the day. Short hair doesn't give you that
option.
Ultimately my hair will remain long until the day I die.
And at that point in time my hair will be somewhere between
waist length and knee length, probably all grey/white/silver,
and absolutely won't be cut short. In my family MPB is not an
issue.

I enjoyed the video. I started growing my hair long in 1964,
so I was one of those original hippies from the 1960s. And if you told this hippie that he would be a member of a civil war
group I would have said you were crazy, yet here I am today.
