Here it is, 8 months for me! Been feeling like progress is a no-show lately, but after careful examination I do believe there is some added length I can see!
Again, warning on my amateur editing skills, hopefully this doesn't turn out gigantic...

EXCELLENT progress photos there, TommyD, you have a great-looking head of hair to work with, I'd say!!
It won't be long before you'll be able to tie it all back into a tail -- which as you probably already know, is usually considered to be the biggest landmark in one's "arrival" to feeling like a hardcore longhair (and no longer going through the infamous "awkward stages" anymore)...
Hope you keep it growing, as I think your hair growth progress is looking just plain excellent so-far!

Thanks for all the kind words Ken. Yes I am definitely looking forward to that milestone...as you probably know the "awkward stage" is pretty much full swing now and I'm hearing all the usual comments, bum, homeless, homely looking, scruffy etc. The good news is that just about all my close friends are very encouraging and saying how much they really like it!

Your hair is looking great! Long hair really suits you and you've got nice hair to work with. :-) I know it can feel like it hardly grows at all, and the longer it gets the more it will seem that way, but rest assured it is still growing. It's just that the half inch a month of growth as a percentage of the total length gets to be smaller and smaller. It's all relative. :P

Sorry for the late reply! This is an awesome update of your progress my friend! I am impressed with your progress and your hair is going to look fantastic when it gets longer! It won't be much longer and you will have a mane to be proud of! I love the dark color and smooth texture of your hair. Much better than my gray and light brown mess!

I am a bit biased towards straight hair, so I will definitely have to give thumbs up to the stylish suit-and-straightened-hair look!
Your hair looks great, and is definitely not as wild and curly as you might think.. just as mine is very straight in comparison to other hairtypes... the wonders of relativity and perspective ;)
