Here is a current image of my hair loose. It is a real challenge to get all of it in a single photo. I know some folks here have wanted to see my hair loose. This was done in a mirror, so the image quality is not the best, but it does show the length well.
Enjoy.
Scott
Hi Scott,
I thank you kindly for posting this photo! It is truly an inspiration for me! Believe me, I am enjoying it very much!:)

Thanks, Ted. I will try to post photos more often. By the way, I don't really know how to treat fluffy hair. Maybe oils would help a bit.

Hi Scott, thanks for the rare glimpse of your hair in a loose state.Don't think I ever recall seeing a past photo of you where it wasn't in your traditional segmented ponytail.Looks fabulous but be careful to avoid any tangles.By any chance do you recall how often you let your hair down, so to speak, say in a given month?Cheers

This is a rare photo of my hair down. I keep it tied in a segmented tail to prevent breakage. My hair is fragile and FAR LESS than ideal to grow to extreme length. I did it anyway, but the price I pay is to keep it tied up all the time.

GREAT pic, Scott, even if the mirror makes the image a bit cloudy -- still it shows your amazing length and hair's fullness. Am I jealous? Absolutely YES, you'd better believe it!!!!!
I think I've recently hit my own hair's terminal length, as my hair has only grown maybe a maximum of an inch or 2 longer than last year (I have not had a professional trimming of the ends in over 3 years, as I use the "Search & Destroy" method of chasing after individual split ends when I see them; so it should in theory get longer than just an inch or 2 in one year).
In any case...
WONDERFUL update, Scott -- and as the saying here goes, "Onward & Onward!" (Since neither one of us can probably grow much more "downward" - LOL)

Thanks, Ken. My hair probably won't get any longer. It reaches my knees. I have greatly ramped up my hair supplements to offset increased shedding from the warfarin, which is a blood thinner.
I get very few split ends, so I don't trim my ends at all. All of my ends are broken due to having fine fragile hair. It would likely get 6 inches longer if was not for this.

Hi Scott,
What an excellent photo, and your hair is a genuine inspiration to all. Your hair, as always, looks fabulous.
One thing that makes it a lot easier for me to take photos (I know I have been negligent about taking any lately, though.) is mounting the camera on a tripod and using the self timer. This works especially well for back photos as well.
Thank you for sharing,
David

Thanks, David. I just wish my mane was thicker. I am working on that by taking hair supplements.
I just casually snapped that photo in my bathroom mirror. It is difficult to fit the full length of my hair into a single image. I am not sure how to do the self timer. I need to look in the manual.
Scott
No srsly, n/t
Thanks Kevin.

It's a rare treat to have a new photo of your amazing hair, Scott. Thanks for sharing this inspirational picture.
I'm sorry you have fears about hair loss due to the medication you're taking but it certainly doesn't appear that it's negatively affecting your hair. Perhaps all those supplements are having a postive impact to offset it.
Keep taking those pictures! :)

Hi Jason, I need to post photos more often.
So far, I have defeated most of the shedding by taking 10mg of biotin per day (in 2 doses) and a special hair supplement.
I keep a spreadsheet for my hair with detailed records of how much I shed. I weigh the shed hair. I may be the only person on Earth that does this. Call me weird, if you like. The detailed records are of great value to me, regarding what to eat and not eat and even which dietary supplements to take or avoid.

Very impressive Scott.

Thanks.
Beautiful mane, Scott!!

Thanks, Oren. Now if I could grow a 2 or 3 foot beard to match, my life would be complete.
Scott
My current envy levels are off the charts! It's just so long! ARRGH!
----------------
It is well over 3 feet long. I have 21 years of blood, sweat, and tears invested in my mane. Hopefully I can hang onto it until the day I die.
Scott
Great hair, Scott. So long and healthy looking! It's got to be a little past your knees at least. :)
-----------------
Thanks Mark. It reaches my knees. I had to bend to fit all my hair into the photo.
Scott
You need a camera and tripod.
Great looking hair. Very inspiring.
