Hi everybody!
Yesterday was my birthday and I had my wife take a pic of my hair since it was looking nice to me. I think I am mostly at least shoulder length now. Still waiting for the front and sides to catch up. When that happens, things will be great.

I have to go to dialysis today which is a bummer. But at least my schedule is monday, Wednesday and Friday. I have my weekends totally free from it.

I won't be Captain America until my hair is waist length! I do appreciate the kind remarks! My birthday was lazy and uneventful. At 47 birthdays have become old hat! But please note, I feel about 18! Age is just a number!

Finally it is starting to get past that dreaded shoulder length where it just wants to bunch up and look crazy! I am pretty sure my hair will lay nice once it can get to be all one length. I kind of wish I had your hair Raymond! You have the wonderful color and straightness I really like! You are looking good my friend! And yes, I can't wait for another year of growth! I may have my mid-back length if I'm lucky!

I agree with you about overanalyzing my hair. I do believe this is the main reason many guys end up cutting their hair. When we wish we had straight hair or fine hair or curly hair or whatever. I think we just have to enjoy the fact that we have hair and are not bald! I sometimes wish I had straighter hair, but always nip those crazy thoughts in the bud! I like straight hair because it seems to get longer quicker. But I am confident I will just love my hair at waist length-when I finally gey there! Hopefully the old hair genes hold up for me!

I greatly appreciate the very nice birthday wishes and comments on my hair! I am getting happier with my hair with each month that passes. It does seem to be laying a little better now that it's getting past the shoulders. I think my shoulders are causing the ends to bunch up and make it look crazy.
Yes, I had a wonderful birthday. I just took it easy and did as little as possible. As I told Walter, I didn't have to go to dialysis that day. That was very nice.
