I would add that long hair was in fashion during the 1960s and
1970s. Since then it has gone out of favor. Even during the 80s with the hair bands it was still out of favor. Despite that i've kept my hair long whether it was in fashion or not.
It seems to be making another comeback
but, from what I've seen on this site - not too many of you guys care one way or the other whether it is in style or out of style...
Brad Pitt looks great with long hair.
I hope I will stick to it long enough through this growing out business to experience that look and feel myself.
Long hair went out of sytle in the 70s. Despite that, I don't care. I started growing my hair in 1964, it's been long ever
since.
In 1964 i destined to become a long hair, now in 2013 i'm still destined to be a long hair. So I shall be long until the day I die.
And yes it may be childish. But if it then i'll remain a
child at the age of 58. At 58 years old I flatley refuse to
grow up and ut my hair. And I also refuse to grow up and stop
wearing cut off shorts.
No, I don't believe this is true
because it was still in style during the 1980s and many guys had shoulder to mid-back length during that era.
I *do* believe it is definitely making a comeback and I see signs that ot will probably make a HUGE comeback before long.
guys are getting tired of the 'barber shop' type buzzed "styles" so they are looking for something a bit longer.
Some guys like me had long hair but I was told many times by
many people in the 1980s that long hair had gone out of style
mahy years earlier so I should get my hair cut. Well I didn't
and those urgings became more of an incentive to keep my hair long. But during the 80s there were a lot less guys with long hair than there were in the 60s and 70s.
This long haired guy had a lot less company in the hair farming business than I had in the 60s and 70s.
I hope so but I haven't seen many signs of it.
But they are still few and far between. I wish I had alot
guys joining me in the hair farming industry but I haven't
seen it happening.
Hi fitzgarce,
I will be hoping you do stick with it and grow your hair long! I do believe you will really love it. I am getting happier with my hair now that the sides are getting close to sitting behind my shoulders. This is a great feeling, but you have to be patient to achieve it! Remember patience is a virtue and all that jazz... We are definitely here for your support my friend!
