Hey everyone,
I'm still lurking around and reading all the posts, although I've been a happy shorthaired guy for a while now. No plans for growing it out in the near future but who knows what happens. It's a bit longer with spikes now instead of a buzz, so it's longer then I've had it for a while.
My life is going very well, just found my own place to live and in september I will start a new job which matches my education (bachelor in electrical engineering). I've been working in a climbing gym for a while and although it's fun it's not something I want to do for the rest of my life.
I'm also very active with sports, and feel so great. Sometimes everything seems to be working against you and sometimes everything goes very easy. If you've got a difficult time in your life, keep up your spirits at some point the tables will turn.
Hope everyone over here is doing great too and enjoying the summer!
Hi Vincent,
As always its great hearing from you and that's cool you still check the board to see the goings on around here:) I have to say I'm still sad that you gave up on being a longhair but I understand its not for everyone. At least you gave it a shot so I commend you for that. Also great to hear you got a job in your field as that should serve you well over your lifetime as its a noble career.Anyway thanks for your update and letting us know how your doing my friend:) Please stop back again as your always welcome here and I'll always remember you as the longhair you were! Cheers

Hey Mark,
Yep I like going to this board, and see how everyone is doing!
I understand that on a board like this people are sad to see my longhair go.
I'm really looking forward to starting my career. I like creating things that people can use.
I will come by now and then, and I like being remembered by my long hair. I'm still proud of my long flowing locks that I had and who knows when they will return.
Vincent
Good to hear from you, Vincent, and to know you are doing fine in your life, even after longhairdom :)
Keep safe and keep on prospering, my friend!
Hehe apparently I can do great things without my longhair ;)
I wish you the same, and I hope to visit you and Norway in the future!
It IS a place one must see :) You're always welcome!
Hi Vincent,
I am very happy to hear everything is going well in your life! Thanks for checking in and updating us! Very nice to hear of the new job and having fun at your current job.
That's great advice for us who might be having difficulties! We have to just keep going and get through it. I hope one of these days you will grow your awesome hair again. I do look at your pic in the directory for inspiration.
Please have a great week my friend!
Ted
Hi Ted,
Nice it's being appreciated that I check in. I'm very happy with how things are going.
There is a very good chance I will grow it out again at some point in my life, when that is nobody knows. Great I can still serve as an inspiration!
I wish you a good week as well.
Vincent
Keep up your good work my friend!
Ted
Hi Vincent,
Glad to see that things are moving along for you. Thanks for the positive advice and thoughtful insight!
Kris
Hi Kris,
Yup I'm very glad. I Hope I can help you and other people over here with the advise and insight!

Very cool Vincent!

Thanks John!
Hi Vincent
Glad to hear you are happy and doing well.
I recently chopped my hair off short too so I understand where you are with that right now. I doubt very much that I will ever have it long again, I really appreciate it being cropped and easy, I'll leave the long hair for the younger guys :)
Take care
Dave
I'm 58 yesrs old and still have long hair. I flatly refuse to leave long hair to only the younger guys. So i'll have long
hair until the day I die.
Yup, that's how I feel too my friend. My hair has been long for over 25 years so why give up on it now.I hardly find my hair to be a problem and actually enjoy brushing it and giving it a periodic henna job:)Cheers
Mârk
As long as you enjoy your hair and care there is no problem, for me it was a necessary part of longhair that I'd rather not have.
I agree age doesn't matter for longhair, what is important is your mindset.
Please don't think I'm knocking anyone who had longhair but gave up on it Vincent.I appreciate the fact that not every guy likes it or would want to spend any amount of time caring for it in order to keep it nice. For me, back in my 20s, I knew I wanted my hair long and never looked back ever since.I've become so accustomed dealing with my hair its just don't give it a second thought when I have to spend time with it.There is something about having longhair that makes me happy to be alive.Everyday when I look in the mirror I relish the fact that I still have nice hair after all these years.Cheers my friend:)

Hi Dave,
Yes I saw the other thread further down with your short hair.
Having short hair gives a lot of freedom indeed. I like the look of longhair but the easy haircare of shorthair. I don't know if I will grow it again, atm I don't have any plans to.
Vincent
Hi Vincent,
Always wonderful to hear from you, as I love your positive attitude and your spirit of forward-motion, healthy living, and free-thinking!
May your life continue to bring great blessings to you and yours, and please continue to stay in touch!!
