Just curious...it's becoming very tough to just get my helmet on and now my hairs are finding ways to escape as I start on my way!
Anyone else ride? I ride a 91' Kawasaki Ninja 600R.
Well thats annoying...not sure why my phone images are crooked lately!
Don't ride - but love to drive with the windows down on my old man car... I've got my daughter's headband in my visor when the hair starts bothering my eyes... otherwise, love the feel of the wind in my hair...
Mayb you should put a bandana on your head under the helmet?
I should have mentioned, I have been doing that, it helps not leave the helmet imprints on the top of my head!

The length of your hair makes a difference to the size of helmet that you need, up to a point, i.e. beyond a certain length it makes no further difference. I grew my hair out before I was old enough to ride a motorcycle, though. And I have a rather large head anyway. I take a size 4 helmet (on a scale that runs 0-5, where most adults fit into a size 2).
I ride whenever I can and have been doing so for over 20 years. When I grew my hair out, I ended up having to buy a new helmet. It's surprising how much bulk long hair can add to the size of your head.
Thanks, that's good to know! maybe I just need to upsize my helmet...it's definitely tighter than it used to be!
Haven't ridden for years, but we always used to reckon long v short meant going up one helmet size.
Just to be clear, helmet sizes run 0-5, with no half sizes, but there are a few helmets that go by regular hat sizes (of which there are at least three different systems in various countries).
Yamaha 650. I usually wear no helmet. Yes I know... and its a nightmare... loose hair looks and feels cool while riding, but you will loose half your mane when detangling. Some of my nastiest tangles have happened on a motorcycle. man they are nasty..
