Hi everybody,
I was kind of liking the way my hair was looking and brushing my back this morning. Just had to take a pic and post here. My apologies! Thank you all for the inspiration and have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
Ted
And here is the front.
Ted,
Thanks for posting the pictures. Your hair does look real nice. I agree with our friend from Arizona - the color is nice - Chestnut - hair not dyed or colored always has different hues and shades mixed in and that's what makes us unique. You can't bottle some shades and mixes of hair color as hard as the chemists try... You should be real pleased with the way your hair looks now.
Hi Fitz,
I do really thank you for the very kind words! I think it's so funny, because I particularly don't like my color! I have had more than one person on the street say they like my color. However, you are correct about the bottled color. It seems that dyed hair seems to look all one color and not natural.
My Mom has red hair and my Dad had jet Black hair. So I guess you get Chestnut from that. My brother has sandy blonde hair. We both have the same amount of waviness. He has a receding hairline. I think my hairline has receded a little over time. Hopefully it doesn't recede anymore.
And you should be very pleased with your hair color and texture as well! Please do not give up growing because I am definitely looking forward to your progress updates!
Hope you have a great rest of the weekend my friend and thanks again!
Ted
Hairs getting long there Ted! Looks great. Keep it growing & flowing!
Hi Mark,
I appreciate the kind words! I am liking how it brushes on my back and kind of falls in front of the shoulders a little. Waist length here I come! Thanks for your inspiration my friend!
Ted
A great looking mane, Ted. It is growing out thinck and with aeautiful wave that sets off the chestnut color.
Many thanks for your very kind compliments! Sometimes I don't really like the color. It seems like it has 2 or 3 different colors mixed in. Yes, hope fully that wave will stay as it gets longer and probably heavier. I sure hope my hair genes will allow waist length! I thank you for your inspiration my friend!
Ted
Your hair is looking great Ted, I remember those growth spurts, I used to love the wind in my hair. Anyway like I said your hair looks great and very full.
Cheers Dave
Hi Dave,
Very nice to see you check in! I always enjoyed your pics of your wonderful hair! I think you said you were going shorter. But you are working on a "Fast N Loud" beard. Hope your beard is coming along well!
I greatly appreciate your very kind compliments! I have to tell you though, my hair is much thicker than I would like. But I guess it's better than being bald! I can't wait to get to waist length! Thanks much for your inspiration!
Hope you have a great rest of the weekend across the pond my friend! Please don't hesitate to check in more often!
Ted
You are blessed to have thick hair - My hair is very thin. I am going bald on top and it almost feels like a losing battle that I have decided to grow my hair long at this point - I wish I'd done it many years ago, but did not - Now, it is a race to grow it out and not have any hair on top - Enjoy that beautiful thick hair/ I never dreamed I would face male baldness a few years ago - I am working hard to accept it as my fate.
Hi Fitz,
My apologies for the late reply! I thank you for the very nice comments! I sometimes get frustrated with my hair's thickness. But I guess it's better than thinning hair.
I can tell you it's never too late to grow your hair! I am sure your hair will look just fine. Just let Mother Nature take care of it. Give it your best effort and you may be surprised! I do send supercharged growth wishes to you! Hope you have agreat week my friend!
Ted
Thankyou Ted, you're a gentleman.
Have a great week :)
Dave
Much appreciated Dave! You have a great week also!:)
Ted
How wonderful it is, Ted, to compare this picture with the one in your profile, and see the huge different these months have made!
Your hair looks great, and I am really impressed with the length you have gotten to after only 12 months! Don't think I will be anywhere near that in 3.5 months.. you are lucky :)
Hi Raul,
I really appreciate your very kind words my friend! I may be a little off on the time frame. It actually may be more like 15 months but I'm not sure. I started my time in August 2012 and my hair had grown out some from a tapered cut. You are correct though. It is crazy to look at those pics and compare them!
I do believe if you stick with it you will get there before you know it! I have always admired your hair even though it seems to drive you crazy! I am, however, glad to hear you think I'm lucky! We will have to see just how lucky I am if I can get to waist length with nice thick ends! That is my ultimate goal. Absolutely no trims until then! I can promise you that! I will never get to waist if I keep trimming.Even though I will probably want to! Can't happen! Thanks again for the nice words buddy! Great day to you in Norway!
Ted
I think your right in what you were saying about maybe it being closer to 15 months...I sure don't see myself being there by October!
Just curious, how long do you think it will take to get to your waist length goal? (Obviously that depends on how tall you are, which only you would know!)
-Tommy
Hi Tommy,
I believe it will take me somewhere around 3 years. But I can assure you it will happen! I am finally getting to the point where my hair is starting to fall behind the shoulders. The front part is around chin length. And unfortunately it is still staying back behind my ears without help. I am hoping with length it will swish in front of my face! If I could only trade hair with you! Great week to you my friend!
Ted
