Has anyone here considered trying a side cut?
how do you think it would look with long hair on a guy?
What is a "side cut"?
Awful
You may not like it but ultimately it is his hair and he has he right to do what he wants with his hair. Just like I have the right to grow my hair long (and all one length.)
So if someone wants to get an undercut, sidecut, or dread locks
that is entirely up to them and I have no right to complain.
Freedom means they have right to wear their hair the way they want to. I'm not going to complain especially after all the folks who
have complained about my long hair over the past 49 years.
Thank you and I think EVERYONE has a right to wear his or her hair the way they want, be it long or short, conventional or unconventional!!

Yes absolutely. During the 60s we battled the establishment for the right to wear our hair the way we want. I butted heads
with a lot of school administrators/teachers/employers over the
years. Ultimately our generation in the 1960s paved the way for
men today to wear their hair they way they want to. So I say enjoy that freedom to the fullest by wearing your hair the way you want to when you want to. If someone says they don't like
x hair style ignore them. It's your hair and your choice for style.

Hey, that was really good work. I have seen this quite a few times and would almost think that the definition (as the way it is worded) would refer to only "one side." Sometimes it is done on both sides and the person simply can swing their longer hair to either direction. Thanks for supplying this link! :-)

A "Side Cut" is simply a less common term used for an "Undercut" Hairstyle. The Undercut has been popular for many many years and appears on very short hair to very long. Here is just one way it can look on a guy with long hair. The sky is the limit with these.

ps: If you desire long hair all over, but then suddenly decide on a "Side Cut," just be sure that you know that to have all long hair again would be like starting from the very beginning. Hair is suppose to be a fun thing and something you yourself like even if a variation on a theme so to speak. Another "Variation" would be a Mullet. Many despise these and others love them. Depends on the person.
I always thought undercut means shaving everything off, except for the top hair (like in this picture), while Sidecut is shaving only one side of your hair....
What do you think of Mullets? I would liek to ehar your opinion.
That is surely not an undercut as the hair on top does not really cover the sides. That surely just a short back and sides with longer top or in some US parlance a low regulation/buzzed sides with longer top.

I've never considered it for myself, though some people can pull the look off reasonably well. I think it works best for those with fairly coarse hair and thick hair since a side cut/undercut will greatly reduce the overall volume of hair.

Wow, this "exact look" is not all that easy to find on guys, but leave it to one of my YT friends to have found this video. I would rather think that the Young Man giving himself this haircut has quite well defined the definition to a tee. So, now you know how it can look on a guy. Take care-
