My hair is almost to the mid-back. But not all hair is
this long. A lot ofThem is short and some are very short.
Those short is very to escape from my well-brushed ponytail,
especially in the later hours. Do you have any good ideas to
better control of them. Thanks
Dear Jing,
Hmm! I have that problem too.
I have long fine and curly hair which tends to knot up if I don't brush it regularly and when I finally get round to doing it, some hair breaks and I forever have that problem of some of the hairs escaping the pony tail holder.
My other friends with long hair have the same problem too, so I guess we longhairs just have to live with it -- unless of course you are into using hair gell or Brylcreem.
Now I stopped using Brylcreem in 1969 and never have since.
Does anyone else a better suggestion?
Keep it growing!
Charles
What I do is to first wet both my hands (important) and then take some Citre Shine styling gel an put a small amount (like about the size of a pea) on one hand (this is all done after styling the hair). Then I rub both hands together, simultaneously diluting the gel with the water that is already on my hands and spreading it around evenly on my hands. Once it's all distributed evenly, I pass my hands ever so lightly across my hair, repeating with more pressure if needed. Oh, yeah. I usually do this when my hair is still damp, although the technique still works with dry hair.
Anyway, the result is hair that stays fairly well without a wet or greasy hair look.
If you have curly hair, you may want to try one of the anti-frizz products. My favorite is the Citre Shine hair polisher.
