I was doing some counting today and I think I am actually more like 10.5 months, but whats a few weeks, right :)
So here is what I've got, in the style I've been wearing it the past few weeks. I usually comb it out before taking pics but today its all natural, so the back is all curled up as it usually is, which does make it appear a little shorter than it is I think. This what I look like at the end of the day! Also, I am pleased to show I've made some good progress since month 6!

Hey Tommy, buddy! =)
Congrats on 10 months, or even a bit more than that ;)
Your hair is look REALLY great, even in it's natural state, and I really can tell a huge different from mine, even at only 1.5m apart!
That side part is really working for you as well, keep doing what you're doing, as it's giving GREAT results!
Soon to close on the 1st year, bro! Good job! =)
Thanks bro! I think I am closing to breaking into new territory...the first time I tried to grow 10 years ago I think I made it to 10 or 11 months. I'm looking forward to next few months to see what it will look like!

Your hair looks great and will only improve with added length. You have the perfect type of hair to grow really long.
Scott
Thank you Scott!
Tommy, it's a great update! It's nice that you put pictures of your earlier stages for us to make a comparison. Yes, the difference between the short cut and your current state really impresses! Your hair is great looking, and it suits you so much! Keep growing! What is your goal, by the way?
Serge.
Thanks Serge. My 1st goal is shoulder length all the way around...I'm sort of waiting to see how it is at that point, but I could see going down to the shoulder blades after that.

Looking great Tommy!
Has the back been cut a bit? It looks like the top is a bit longer which I think is a great look.
Very keen eye Jason! Yes I had the back cut about 3 months in. I was trying to avoid a mullet look during my growing phase. At this point I am regretting it as I would love to have the extra length, however it did serve it's original purpose so I guess I really can't complain.

Hi Tommy,
Thanks for the great update! I must say your hair is coming along very nice! I really like how you have put the timeline pics together. One of these days I will have to do that myself! You don't appear to have much curling in your hair though. Does your hair curl up if you don't comb it while it's wet?
I am confident that your hair will look so good when it gets longer. Your hair type is perfect for growing. Yes, you've made excellent progress I would say! Please keep growing it my friend!
Ted
I always comb it after it gets wet, but the back always curls up around the collar of my shirts. I always wear shirts with collars for work. I guess maybe my definition of "curling up" is different since my hair is pretty straight. If you look at the back around my neck basically it doesn't go straight down like the rest of my hair, it sort of arches up a bit.
-Tommy
Hi Tommy,
Yes, the hair will curl up if allowed to dry sitting on top of the collar of your shirt. Once your hair is allowed to hang free of the collar, this will most likely stop. At any rate, your hair is very admirable I must say:)

Hi Tommy
Yes, what's a few weeks...........so true. That is such an awesume start and your hair is looking great!
Funny thing about the ends that curl up. I can remember that happenning to myself years ago and finally the ends gave-up and fell into place. "Good," I thought, "I've made it!" And suddenly out of the blue a few months later they made yet another attempt to curl up. I was mystified, "how could this be?" (Guess it was a "2nd Awkward Stage" which was short lived.) In about 6 weeks the ends all fell again and they never "dared" trying that stunt ever again. LOL Keep it growing Tommy and best of luck to you. :-)

That is great progress for ten months. You have that enviable "Tom Cruise" texture to your hair. You are going to have an incredible ponytail !
Thanks for Sharing
WWT
P.S. I am not sure I would share that "typical" photo too often.....giggle
Haha, that's what happens when I try to "smile" for the photograph. I figured the face corresponded well with the hair style :)
You've made "some" progress?
Dude, I think your hair is growing fast as hell haha.
Congrats on your 10 month mark.
One more year and your hair will look even better!
Damn, when I was at 10 months, it didn't even look close remotely as good as yours. Also, your hair is growing fast, as it seems. Anyways, it looks fantastic and by the time you hit the 2 year mark, you will have an enviable mane.
Hair is looking good, Tommy. Can't wait to see what two years of growth will look like for you!
-Tommy-
You've got a great look going on there - beautiful, thick hair and you are achieving a nice length. I am sure you will push past your record of 10-11 months of growth now - and soon you will be sporting a nice shoulder length hair style. To say the least, you've got some good encouragement from the guys here. Hopefully, you are getting good feedback from the people in your life that matter most. We all hope you'll keep growing and we look forward to your next milestone, buddy.
Tommy, there's no doubt about it, zero doubt whatsoever: long hair looks hands-down TERRIFIC on you!!
... 'Nough said!
Hey TommyD!
It seems that longer hair suits you much better than short hair. to what length do you planned on growing it out? and it also seems that your current hair length a little bit as the same length as mine. guess it would be interesting to have a race about it? LOL.
Good day!
Your hair is looking really good for 10 months! I'm at 9 months and my bangs aren't even to the tip of my nose yet =)
