I took a bunch of pictures...didn't get any really good length pictures, but this one looks OK.
It's an impressive hair you've got there! And it looks simply great! In this pic you make really long hair look so classical! The facial hair compliments the style too.
Thanks for a pic!
Serge.
You're welcome!

Your mane looks super as usual, Robert. It is difficult to see what the actual length is. Maybe a bit past knee length.
Scott
Solid calf, but the tips are thin and there is enough wave to get some shrinkage. Say 1/3 the way from knee to ankle.
Hi Trolleypup,
Have to hand it to you as you make longhair look great no matter what the attire your wearing is :)I recall your pics from the trails being a more relaxed environment but this is a first for me seeing you in a more formal setting. As always you hair length is amazing and quite rare I might add.Not too often you see male or female with hair that long. You are truly blessed my friend.Cheers.

I have to snicker a little...these shelves are in my bedroom, and just out of the frame on all sides is plenty of mess. I put the outfit on as a whim, but then wandered out to dinner in it.
Thanks!
Ha! Forgot to add this to the previous!
Ha ha,now there's a more relaxed atmosphere with your hair down of course:)Fantastic mane! Cheers

Hi Trolleypup,
Very nice looking calf muscles you have there! Oh, and the hair...fugetaboutit!
Ted
WOW! that is amazing length... this is something I just don't see very often...
Do you get a lot of comments from people? I would have a hard time not saying something to you if I saw you in public - but I might make a fool of myself in the process...
I'd guess that I average a few comments a week. Mostly drive-bys or stuff I can say 'Thank you!' to. Now and then there will be longer conversations. Negative contacts are pretty rare. If I had my hair down more, I assume I'd hear about it a lot more.
And yes, people stumble over their words sometimes, I don't make a point over that...I understand what they are trying to say.
I recommend drive-by type comments "Great Hair!" and the like that don't expect the other person to respond and get involved beyond a polite 'Thanks'. If they wish to continue the conversation, they can. Also, it's harder to mess up something simple.
Hi Trolleypup,
Thanks for such a classic pic of you and your hair! I am truly inspired by your length and thickness to the ends! I would have to say this pic looks more than just okay! Unfortunately I don't get to see enough pics of you and your hair! One of these days I will finally hit waist! I figure at least 2 years from my current length of just past shoulder.
Hope you have a wonderful week my friend!
Ted
I try not to spam the board too much, because there really isn't much change. Maybe half a dozen hairs made the distance from 61" to 62". I might get out in the wilderness and get some pictures this weekend...we'll see.
The week is going well...we had a work signup (changing posts within the division) and I am staying where I want to be, with a better mix of co-workers! Yay! Also...I have Friday and Monday OFF!
Wow, truly impressive.

Just ok? More like fabulous beyond belief!
Justin~
*wink* And how many takes did it require for some of your videos?
Picky is as picky does!
Takes? OMG, I just let that 2008 series fly "as is" and what you see and hear is just what happened the 1st time. Now as for all of the musical videos, lots of takes. Nothing like playing a piece through and hitting a wrong note on the very last chord. Yies!
Justin :-)
Doctored the photo up a little to show your hair
Thanks! There is only so much you can do with room lighting...
...your hair looks great too !!
Thanks for Sharing...
Walter
Thanks Walter! I try to keep it together a bit at my age.
Looks AMAZING!
I wonder how you use it on a daily basis .
Possibly without the stick awry...this was a drunken hair pic.
A guy with long hair in a suite is a wonderful and inspiring site. Thank you for posting the picture.
Gotta dress up from time to time. Don't want to be that guy going out on a date looking all scruffy while his date is to the nines!
Wow, what an awesome mane! We have about the same hair type except mine's right at mid back length.
Glad to provide a preview!
I clicked on this picture and I literally gasped "WOW". Holy Cats, man - this is the first picture I've seen of you other than your avatar - I had no idea your hair was this long - amazing. As the other guys said, it is cool to see you all dressed up and with your hair flowing freely.
thanks for sharing your picture.

You're welcome! Here is another...at the end of a hot backpacking trailwork trip.
College Professor, perhaps? Librarian?
Heh. Not quite!
It appears that I don't have any pictures of me at work in my new position (rail instructor), but here is an old one from my time as a vintage streetcar operator.

Hi Trolleypup,
That is very nice to see you are able to have your hair down while working. Your hair looks awesome here!
Ted
I can, but I very rarely do...too many tangles!
Hi Trolleypup,
I wanted to ask you if it is normal for people with long hair to have tangles even if they use conditioner. I am already experiencing some tangling and my hair is only just past shoulder length.
That is a bummer you get too many tangles! It seems like heresy to keep hair like yours put up!
Ted
Wow. Really classy looking pic there :)
Anyone who says that long hair makes us look homeless had better take a good look at this pic.
To be honest, past a certain length, you grow out of perceived scruffiness or unkemptness into a state of exceptionalness (so long as it is kept in good condition) and the standard types of insults and harassment fall away, replaced mostly by harassment for being different more than anything else.
What an outstanding photo, truly classy in every way!!!!
Long time no see, Trolleypup! I keep thinking I might bump into you again someday on MUNI, maybe while you're training new bus drivers or supervising the regular ones; but that hasn't happened in awhile... In any case, I hope you're still enjoying your new position (although probably not all that "new" to you anymore - LOL)!
Just a few additional comments about the clothes you are wearing in this pic: I really enjoy seeing the contrast (or, maybe I should say: what the outside world PERCEIVES as "contrast") -- the formal, conservative-looking 3-piece suit VS the looooong, flowing loose hair... It just makes that photo all the more unusual -- and in a nutshell, proves a point: that a guy with mega-long hair can look both masculine, and hands-down ELEGANT!!!
Thanks for sharing this pic with us, it's always good to hear from you!!
- Ken
WOW, how long have you been growing your hair?
More than 20 years, but that is about 8 years of growth.
