I have been keeping my hair at mid back length and trimming my ends up to make them healthier, but in the near future I would like to head into the lower back/waist length area and just let it grow out for a while with slight trims.
Looking good Mark. How long have you been keeping it at this length and trimming?
-Tommy
Thanks, Tommy. About two years now? Took me about four years of growth to reach mid back from a buzz cut.
Hey Mark
That is looking really nice and I am sure that you will have great fun growing your long hair to an even longer length. So nice to see you here on the board. Hope you had a great Summer! :-)
Justin~
Thanks, Justin. Probably will take me another years worth of growth to reach lower back length which I am aiming for. Summer has been good and hope yours was nice as well man!
Mark, it's been a blast to follow your journey from the beginning. It's cool to hear that you're thinking of trying for some more length as I am.
Your hair is certainly looking awesome here and with that thickness, no doubt has great growth potential.
Thanks, Jason. It has been a hell of a journey with my hair growth that's for sure. Always enjoy seeing your hair updates as well! We really have come a long ways since short hairdom. Looking forward to seeing you again in a few weeks! I should see lower back length hair in another year or so with just baby trims.
Hi Mark,
Thanks a bunch for posting a great photo! It looks like the trimming really thickened up those ends! Your hair is looking just badass man! I think you and I have very similar hair types. I am definitely looking forward to seeing your hair in the lower reaches! Would be neat to find out your terminal length. I am planning to grow to waist length my self. Not sure if I'm going to do any trims yet though. Please keep it growing and flowing my friend!
Ted
Thanks, Ted. Really looking forward to seeing how your hair does as it gets longer! You are well on your way with the awesome hair you have already my friend. :)
Hi Mark,
Thhanks for the nice compliments, buddy! I can only say if my hair looks anything like yours, I shall be very happy! I do have to admit though, I am enjoying my hair now that the layers are growing out.
Ted
Go for it, Mark! You've got great hair. Might as well see what you can accomplish with a little lengthening.
Thank you. It will be interesting to see what lower back length would look on me!
That's it! Take care of it and let it keep growing!
Looking good!
Thanks and for sure! :)
Hi Mark,
Yes, I think you should consider growing your hair out longer with even terminal length in mind:)I would be cool to see how long your hair would actually grow out to if you just gave it the chance.I feel every longhair should experience terminal length at least once in their life time my friend. Think about it ;)Cheers
Mârk
Thanks, Mark. It will be awesome to see what terminal would bring to me, but i'm not going past lower back, LOL. I might just let it go to butt length, but that's it, LOL.
Lookin' good there, Mark!
It's an on-going process, isn't it? We always have the opportunity to learn something new about ourselves -- whether we're talking about personal growth, or hair growth -- there's as much to get out of the journey as there is to "arrive" at the destination!

Thanks, Ken. It is a on-going journey for sure! Going to lower back length will be a new journey in long hairdom for me. :)
Hi Mark,
Your mane looks fantastic, and I agree with the others. With its increased thickness, I think that you would have no problems achieving waist length, and still have reasonable thickness as well.
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks, David. Good to hear from you! You are right in that with thicker ends I should be able to grow my hair longer and better now. I'd like to go to lower back length at least which will probably take me another year's worth of hair growth. Cheers!
Hey Mark!
Love the hair, bro! Length is getting remarkably longer, and it looks really nice and healthy too! Good job! =)
Thanks, Raul. I really didn't want to go past mid back length until my ends got healthier and thicker. Cheers! :) I switched to an organic shampoo as well to get rid of bad sulfate shampoos from drying out my ends as well.
